Is there a way to search this thread? Search box up top seems to search all threads. Also, does anyone have any insider knowledge about the 3958 queue? I'm one minute away from ending my watch (12G-P5-3958-KR 6/3/2021 7:43:24 AM PT) but haven't seen movement in a while.
We have seen SKU's go months with no movement and then finally move 2-3 seconds. Those who have been in the forums and following since last year know this. Just gotta be patient.

I feel for the poor poor souls who wander into this thread with naught but a wisp of curiosity. The ol "Hey i just remembered i signed up for a card in the EVGA queue a couple months ago. What in the world could be going on with that? Let me check it out" Then they find this thread and get overwhelmed by the size. So they figure they will post about being in the queue for months to correct what must be an oversight. Surely a savior will be able to help them get their hands on a card since it's been so long. They do all of this only to find out that there have been crusted old veterans in the queues for many months longer than they have. It's at this point their curiosity turns into despair. The hope filled balloon that would once take them into the heavens of GPU bliss begins to gush air as the weight of realization presses ever downward upon it. The waves of salt wash over them and then, in a rush of enlightened knowledge, the fingers full of anger take over to chastise the evga forum for its incompetence. This is the process of graphics card purchasing in this challenging time. I've been there. It's not fun. I feel for these folks. I really do.

LMFAO this hit deep, I was tying hard to get a card when they all dropped but gave up after a few months only to find this forum about 1.5 months ago and see that I am minutes away. The excitement i felt was short-lived....

Well the ridiculous Shuffle prices are such that there is not incentive to flip at the current price, Ebay has 3 x more inventory than when 3080s were selling for 1050$, the current price is about 1550 and that should drop another couple 100 in a week or two, if people are wise. That should reduce demand significantly, *crosses fingers*

In all seriousness, congrats to everyone that has gotten cards in the past couple weeks. I got selected in the shuffle (randomly clicked on everything) and then had to pick my mouth up off the floor when I saw the crazy markups they are still pushing. Luckily I can wait for a new GPU.

Yeah, some of the shuffle prices are absolutely ridiculous. I’ve seen 3080 Tis going for over $2K, and I somehow doubt that’s MSRP. Fortunately, the 3080 Ti I purchased from being selected in the shuffle was actually at MSRP. Still had to buy a $60 PSU I doubt will see much use if any.
