3link22 Anyway, interested to hear what you all think I should do. I'm at 6/3 8:44 for all the 3080 ti models.
You could try to refuse delivery of the mobo when it arrives, but you'd have to be on the lookout for the delivery person to be there to refuse it.
Would that actually work? Wouldn't they charge you anyways? For the same reason that you can't return part of a bundle.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

I believe so. I think that's one of the eligible products. You can always check the details here but I believe it should "include any EVGA graphics cards, motherboards, power supplies, gaming cases, or laptops.".
3link22 So I won today's newegg shuffle. I now have an hour and a half to purchase a Gigabyte RTX 3090 Aorus Xtreme. But there's a catch. I'd have to buy it with an $800 intel motherboard, the GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS XTREME LGA 1200. I already have brand new motherboard and CPU, so I have absolutely no need for this thing. I suppose I could ebay it but I doubt I'd get $800 from the transaction. So basically I'd end up paying $3,200 (after tax) for a 3090 (less whatever I can get back from selling the motherboard, if anything). That looks an awful lot like an ebay price to me. I'm starting to think I won the shuffle because nobody else entered. Anyway, interested to hear what you all think I should do. I'm at 6/3 8:44 for all the 3080 ti models.
What are you upgrading from?? Honestly, imo, it just isn't worth the hassle and risk of being down hundreds if you lose big on the MOBO. I'm pretty conservative on betting, so I would personally recommend you just wait it out and continue your hunt for any other EVGA card and then just register it for the step up queue to a 3090. Not sure if you're trying to game in 4K or super high fps or need it for its processing power, but if you don't absolutely need a 3090, I would just try to make due with whatever you can get your hands on. The 8:44 time isn't super great, but we never know what could happen to the pace of the queues.
Upgrading from a 2080 (non ti). Thanks for the insight. I’ll keep thinking on it. Still 30 mins to decide.

gametheory Congrats! Glad to see another regular get a card!
Sorry. I missed this the first time. Thanks tshalev Out of curiosity, what are you planning on replacing the 2070 Super with? Just asking, because you might not find that any of the cards currently available are a meaningful upgrade to that card (at least not for the cost).
Probably with a 3080 FTW3. I'm guessing it will be Sept/Oct by the time my spot is called. Back_Yard_Gamer I'm only catching up now but well done and the very best of luck with the new card. Don't disappear now will ya. Its not that we'd miss ya but we've become immune to ya. 🙂 Have a great weekend.
I'll hang around. Sooo many potential "Post of the day" to follow :)

I doubt it would be able to qualify for Elite , I registered 2080S and the Date of MFG did not let me join the elite program even though I bought it "new" and was only 2 months old when I registered it, the Date was such that it did not qualify me, I think it was probably a refurb or b stock. I even uploaded the receipt.

You're looking at a 15-20% performance uplift. It's not nothing, but I'm not sure it's worth dropping $900 on. 2070 Super is a pretty great card. Obviously not going to tell anyone what to buy, but if it was me I would wait on the next gen to replace a 2070 Super (that said, you could probably sell it for quite a bit in this climate).

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. He only plays Destiny 2, and does some video editing, so I think I’ll do what you recommended and wait for his full desktop upgrade.

Ha! Too bad there’s no filter for these things. It’s surprising just how rampant bots are everywhere, and that no one really cares to do anything about them.

lol I just think it illustrates the laziness of some people. Not only is it too hard for them to contribute to this forum in a meaningful way but they have to get a bot to do it for them. Hopefully the mods will ban them before they get to ELITE status.

Keep the 3070 Ti. It’s a no-brainer since it’s a better card, and if you’re looking to keep only one you may as well keep the better of the two. Plus, your gf will appreciate that. After all, that was a hell of a gift.

I would keep the 3070 over the 3070ti. The 3070ti is not that much faster 5-10% but uses 25% more power.

Yes it will add you to the queue. You can register on element35gaming.com and enter your queue info. It’s not accurate by any means but will give you a rough idea.

I'm curious to know myself because I'm lost at this point. I don't know if the queue is available for every card or not. During this week I got a notification for 1650 I believe, I've immediately click but saw the "out of stock". I don't think this is how the queue system work.

Thanks Bob, will check it out. Is there a limit to how many auto notify's we can add. I added all the 3080 recently but now their missing. I am guessing we have a limit to how many we can auto notify?

The way the queue system works is you click on a notify button on the card you wish to purchase and you'll receive an email confirming you are in a queue. Some cards have no notify button and its unknown if they'll be activated again. How long you'll be waiting and your position in the queue is known only to EVGA. Eventually you'll receive an invitation to purchase the card. If you are from Europe use https://eu.evga.com/ If you are from USA use https://evga.comLikewise for your Notify list if you are in: EU https://eu.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp USA https://evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp If you have just recently signed up for a card you could be waiting a Looong time. My own advice is keep your options open and watch every online store for a chance to buy a card. The lounge here is a reasonably nice place to wait and the occupants while a bit salty at times don't bite and there's always hot coffee in the pot in the corner. All we ask is you do not put your feet on the table, it's new! Best of luck and I hope your wait is short. NPNiles I'm curious to know myself because I'm lost at this point. You have 8 hours to go for it... They hold the card for you for the duration, then move on to the next in line. The account email on the site has to match the notification email and you have to sign in with that email I got the 1650 notice as well this week but already had a 3060.

Can you imagine how slow this would move if everyone had 48 hours? It's bad enough as it is... Eight hours is more than enough, and as others have mentioned, EVGA is very generous with people missing their windows.
