Ok. My watch is over guys. Thanks to the kindness of a fellow forum/queue friend, I received a card. And before anyone jumps on my/our case with the obligatory “but you’re screwing someone in the queue by cutting inline”, my friend received two notification within 4-5 days, and the latter notification being for the card he really wanted, and having already ordered the first one, he offered to pass his first order to me. Today’s work is to swap out the PSU (we’ll see how good the new G6 1000W gold is), swap out the stock fans to noctuas on the radiator, and put everything back together. The only cards that would tempt me to get at this point are the cards of HC variety. I will not remove all my auto notifies, because out of morbid curiosity I want to see how long they would take, and if (a big if) I get an air cooled card from my remaining sku queues, I will get it for my son to replace his 2070 super. The palpable disappointment has transmuted into appreciation-for the hilarity of a bunch of grown men chasing silicon as if it will improve our existence. I am about to take up a new hobby-drones. Don't gotta make fun of us... but good luck and enjoy the drones! Post some sweet videos once you get the hang of it. Yeah that happens a lot. The website bugs out quite often. You can try again later or sometimes what works for me is going to a different page (like the product page for something) and trying to log in again.

Antonline.com has stock of 3080ti and 3070’s, but they are bundled packages and outrageous. But if you are in need of a cpu, keyboard, mouse, psu, and 3 months of Xbox live, then the package is for you! uh no, at the beginning of October there was the announcement of the EVGA queue, so expect the mother of all bottlenecks to happen at the 5th or 6th you had better tuck into em smores and find another hobby till Christmas comes around lol

Sadly, I don't think either the 3968 or the 3080 FTW3 (regardless of whether it is the Ultra or the Gaming model) will reach you by August 15. I am sorry I don't have better news.

I'm new to PCs in general, though I've been a daily Mac user for more than 30 years. I'm signed up on about eight Discords for stock and live close to a Micro Center and less than a mile from a Best Buy.
I put about 50 hours of effort into getting him an Xbox Series X, and I'm probably close to that now with the GPU. He still gets to play Minecraft and NBA2K on his iPad, iPhone, and Xbox, so it's not a make-or-break situation.

Out of curiosity, what are you planning on replacing the 2070 Super with? Just asking, because you might not find that any of the cards currently available are a meaningful upgrade to that card (at least not for the cost).

I'm getting repeated "reCAPTCHA check fail" errors, anyone else? I've already set a few notifs previously which worked, also not sure if I read incorrectly but weren't there 3070 Ti's listed? Edit: disregard, I manually searched 3070 Ti and brought up this page and was able to set a notif. It was from the products page here that I had issue with the "reCAPTCHA check fail" errors

So I won today's newegg shuffle. I now have an hour and a half to purchase a Gigabyte RTX 3090 Aorus Xtreme. But there's a catch. I'd have to buy it with an $800 intel motherboard, the GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS XTREME LGA 1200. I already have brand new motherboard and CPU, so I have absolutely no need for this thing. I suppose I could ebay it but I doubt I'd get $800 from the transaction. So basically I'd end up paying $3,200 (after tax) for a 3090 (less whatever I can get back from selling the motherboard, if anything). That looks an awful lot like an ebay price to me. I'm starting to think I won the shuffle because nobody else entered.
Anyway, interested to hear what you all think I should do. I'm at 6/3 8:44 for all the 3080 ti models.

You could try to refuse delivery of the mobo when it arrives, but you'd have to be on the lookout for the delivery person to be there to refuse it.

So I won today's newegg shuffle. I now have an hour and a half to purchase a Gigabyte RTX 3090 Aorus Xtreme. But there's a catch. I'd have to buy it with an $800 intel motherboard, the GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS XTREME LGA 1200. I already have brand new motherboard and CPU, so I have absolutely no need for this thing. I suppose I could ebay it but I doubt I'd get $800 from the transaction. So basically I'd end up paying $3,200 (after tax) for a 3090 (less whatever I can get back from selling the motherboard, if anything). That looks an awful lot like an ebay price to me. I'm starting to think I won the shuffle because nobody else entered.
Anyway, interested to hear what you all think I should do. I'm at 6/3 8:44 for all the 3080 ti models.
You should take it. It sounds like a lot, but only compared to what things used to cost. Any chance to get a 3090 from a reputable seller is a good deal. The price is not that high, when you subtract the cost of the motherboard. If you don't want the motherboard, there is probably a queue for those too.

I believe so. I think that's one of the eligible products. You can always check the details here but I believe it should "include any EVGA graphics cards, motherboards, power supplies, gaming cases, or laptops.". 3link22

What are you upgrading from?? Honestly, imo, it just isn't worth the hassle and risk of being down hundreds if you lose big on the MOBO. I'm pretty conservative on betting, so I would personally recommend you just wait it out and continue your hunt for any other EVGA card and then just register it for the step up queue to a 3090. Not sure if you're trying to game in 4K or super high fps or need it for its processing power, but if you don't absolutely need a 3090, I would just try to make due with whatever you can get your hands on. The 8:44 time isn't super great, but we never know what could happen to the pace of the queues.
