My own solution to that is book the ferry and head across shopping to France. If I don't have any luck I can always fortify myself with Wine!  matmark
EU queue for 3060 is still under the 9:01 while NA is past 9:45 , can we do something about please? LOL

what can we expect from the 3080ti queue?
Cause for EU I couldn't load the page almost a full hour before the registration opened for the 3060

Been in the queue since September 22nd for the 3080. Over 7 months now. Unbelievable. I use to respect EVGA. Now they have lost every ounce of respect I have over the past few months.
Seeing all these prebuilt systems with 3080s for sale all over. All the big name streamers and company’s have them. But normal people like me have been waiting months and months. Still nothing. What a terrible thing this company has done. I know this seems like I’m whining and venting... whatever. I’m just so bummed about this. I’m actually going to be selling my PC I built last September since it just sits here without a GPU. I have other things I need to do now. I can’t keep waiting for this company to do the right thing anymore. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Your patience is better than mine. I’m removing my position from the queue, so now you’re all 1 spot closer.
If anyone from EVGa happens to see this... all I want to say is shame on you. SHAME ON YOU.

Sakiz105what can we expect from the 3080ti queue? Page crashes, slow load times and general frustration. Just like every other card's launch (if not worse since each launch gets more press, more people learn about the queue system and the GPU situation gets people more desperate).

I've been in queue for the 3080 since September 22nd too. Other people go into the queue ahead of me. Them's the breaks. Not EVGA's fault. Name another company that has setup a queue system for their products and 24 hour exclusive access to the queue for their members. I'll wait.

Not a wine drinker myself, but he wife is. While stationed in the UK my wife and I took a trip to Normandy and Mont Saint-Michel. It is there, that she discovered Beaujolais and fell in love with it. That said, the week (read two months) dry spell has been pretty disappointing on the 3897. It whipped through 9/20 rather quickly, but I suspect there weren't very many signups on that day compared to the previous days. We have hit a virtual wall and only trickles of them make it through. Enjoy your weekend and do something that takes your mind off of the worldwide GPU fiasco.

You can most definitely have a brand new 3000 series GPU within about 2 months if you buy a PC though an SI. Much nicer than the ready-to-buy prebuilts that require immediate component replacement after purchase (ketchup & mustard firestarters). Of course you'll pay a hidden premium of $500-$1000 that's baked into the price, so there's no free lunch unfortunately. When you see some of their prices, you'd be forgiven if you thought they'd changed currency to Canadian monopoly money.

The 3060ti was weird for europe. The queue opened like 12 days after release . I registered on the 12th and got email 3 days later! FOr the 3070 xc3 ultra for example it took me 189 days to finally get my email and it was only 32m after release (it arrives next week, will keep it and register it for a step up like I have done with the 3060ti :D) Hope I can get a 3080ti. 3080 was my first aim but I registered too late for that

Mont Saint-Michel a beautiful spot amazing views, did you go visit the crocodiles just down the road from it? My fav place to shop (going & coming home) is Auchan in Cherbourg and you'll see loads of Irish Campers stocking up before the trip home. I still have my Zotac 1070 to tide me over and I'll spend a few hours on Twitch streaming with a few beers for good measure this weekend. defensor

Nobody wants to or should pay inflated prices. But if you're running a business, at some point continuing to hold out will start to cost you more than just biting the bullet and paying out the nose. This unfortunately keeps incentivizing the scalpers as they have a near-virtual monopoly on supply.
