Still no PWM fan or pump? One of the biggest disappointments I had with the 1080 version is that there's a fan on the radiator, a fan on the card, and a water pump, and yet only one fan speed shows up in Precision XOC. And they all seem to run at the same speed all the time. It's easily the loudest thing in my case. And the fan on the radiator is only 2-wire, so I can't replace it with a standard PWM fan.

Jacob's initial post said it's PWM fans, so should be 4 pin and swappable for other 4 pins, at least I hope. Jacob also mentioned that fan speeds are set based on liquid and vrm temps respectively (I'm guessing this is where the icx really comes in handy) which seems very reasonable to me. Got my order in on Newegg today. First Aio GPU, and can't wait to replace my air cooled 1080 with this beauty this weekend. I might even do a review/install/bench and post to YouTube. Best of luck to everyone in getting one of these if you can and want one! Should be one of the better 1080 ti options that money can buy stock.

EVGA_JacobF These kits are a bit different as they support iCX. (The PWM fan is runs off PWM header)
Glad to see it uses PWM. I'll grab a Noctua high static pressure fan for it. What are you running to load the card for the screenshot?

EVGA...the only manufacturer that can't produce cards in volume... Every other manufacturer has had their top of the line cards in stock for close to two weeks now. Occasionally they sell out, but there's more within a day or two minimum. You'd die of hunger before you'll see a FTW become available for more than 5 minutes at a time. It doesn't matter how good the quality or performance is if you can never buy one...

For the 980's and the 1080's both times I've walked into microcenter the week they launched and left with a pair of them without issue. Maybe check offline or just get used to the month or two wait. But try a microcenter or frys.

EVGA_JacobF In stock now! (While supplies last) http://www.evga.com/articles/01107/evga-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-sc2-hybrid/ This card has full iCX Technology along with a HYBRID CLC giving you around 45C load temps. The PWM fan spins based on the PWM, giving a better cooling system overall.
@EVGA_JacobF - Good Morning/Afternoon Any chance of this card being available in the (EU) Store today?. Thank you

It is possible to be quicker if you re-use your coolers and features from 1080. For 1080 Ti we wanted to make improvements, unfortunately this takes a few extra weeks and R&D but I think the end result is worth it. Example HYBRID this is the first time we have done iCX features on a HYBRID SKU.

ryan_hinkle Question.. I just ordered the SC2 Hybrid from Newegg but didn't see anything about the Ghost Recon/For Honor promo. Is that not available with that card through Newegg? No big deal if not, just curious since it's available on the EVGA site with the promo.
Should be there, we are reaching out.
Talked to Newegg customer service last night. They said they would look into it and email me back(haven't heard back yet). So, today I saw that the card was listed with the promo so I tried talking with them again. They said they can't give me the free promo gift unless I send the card back and reorder it. That's crap. My card won't be here until Saturday and it's sold out now, so who's to say when I'd get my card. The guy that I spoke with today said it's possible I still could get it with the first request I made last night, but if I have to send it back, I guess I won't be getting it. I hate dealing with Newegg sometimes.

This is true and I feel for you guys overseas. It just annoys me that Newegg can't add it to my account when the guy even said "It should have been included and I don't know why it wasn't." I had the same issue when I bought my GTX 970 SC three years ago, and they added the promo to my account as soon as I asked. Anyway, I'm done ranting lol. Hope you can grab the card soon.

and can you say price for Hydro version? I need know what is better option (price). Wait on Hydro or buy air cooled version. Block + backplate I buy from EKWB. Example 1080 Hydro version cost lower like option 1080 on Air + block + backplate.

Bemau Congratz! Great news. But I'll wait a little bit longer to buy the EVGA GeForce GTX Ti FTW GAMING HYBRID. But I have already sold my GTX 1080 FTW3 Hybrid for a great price, so plz hurry up Keep up the good work!
It seems that a lot of you are concerned about holding out for a prospective FTW3 hybrid, but I'm not really sure why, especially considering it may not even be made. I get the desire to have the top-end branded card, but the only real improvements on the ftw3 over the SC2 seem to be ones which wouldn't really do much for you on an already water cooled card. Examples are improved thermals for the VRM/memory, different fan configuration, comes stock with slightly higher clocks. It also has the dual 8 pins, but from everything I've researched about the 1080 ti, this doesn't seem to really matter much for most use cases, as the power ceiling is almost never the limiting factor for overclocking, but rather the silicon lottery and Nvidia's voltage limitations will top you out before the difference between the 8+6 and 8+8 pin power config. will ever matter in real world terms. Therefore, and I may be missing something here... but it seems that a water cooled SC2 Hybrid should, in theory, give you about the same performance aspirations as a hybrid ftw3, but at a slightly lower price... Assuming that the power config. won't be a limitation regardless, and that the thermals will be resolved with water cooling either way. Curious to hear your thoughts though. Personally, I'd say go with an SC2 hybrid if you can get one and enjoy it now. IF an FTW3 hybrid comes out, I wouldn't expect any significant increases in OC headroom with these cards and even less difference in real world FPS performance numbers. I wouldn't feel too left out in that case. Cheers guys.

It's more of the site counting additional cards than it should. Each of the colored ELITE cards have a different part number suffix (-K1, -K2, -K3, -K4, and -K5) to differentiate the color, which doesn't show up on the Product page. With 5 colors each for the SC2 ELITE and FTW3 ELITE, that adds up to an extra 10. Technically, the ELITE cards will not use a KR suffix (as noted above), but we're using the -KR as a placeholder for the Build To Order page, so we don't actually have 15 cards showing up on the 1080 Ti page. Either way, we've correctly dropped the number back down to 7, for now. I can see where you're going with your thinking, but it's not quite correct, lol.

I was lucky enough to snag one of them before they sold out on Newegg, but apparently I was too quick as the promotion hadn't been activated on that item yet, and because I didn't make a qualifying purchase during the proper "time frame" Newegg will not send me the code. Is this something that EVGA or Nvidia could help me out with?
