It's hard to find images of E-ATX motherboards in Corsair 5000D Case. I have Corsair 5000D case brand new in the box, ordered it a few years ago for a new build that never happened.  Trying to see how tight of a fit ASRock X870E Taichi E-ATX motherboard would be in that case.

ASRock X870E Taichi is expensive, might just go with ASRock X870E Nova WiFi instead for my new build.

Looking at Corsair and ASRock's sites, it looks like that board is the maximum supported height and 10mm shy of the maximum supported width. The one issue I've seen with the 5000D/X series was when EVGA launched z590 and there were all these down-facing right-angle connectors at the bottom edge of the motherboard. The fan headers and usb connectors were hitting the case's support metal there in the middle and rear edge (towards the I/O ports) because they missed the holes behind the power supply. It looks like the Taichi board's bottom connectors are all straight, so it wouldn't be an issue.

It does look like it'll be really tight on that right side unless you remove the cable-guard. If you are planning to mount fans or a radiator on that corner, it wouldn't matter at all and you should have room.

6Q6CPFHPBPCU691 is a discount code anyone can use.

I will probably just go with ASRock Phantom Gaming X870E Nova WiFi. It's like $300 cheaper and it's ATX. I made a mistake and window shopped newer cases, starting to like Lian Li Lancool 216 over Corsair 8000D case.

The Corsair 9000D case can fit large motherboards and it's the best PC case I have owned to date.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA
