damn...  not what i wanted.  do yall think they will release this installed on a KPE card?  my OEM AIO seems to be working great on my KPE and hate to remove it.

Yeah I thought it was the card as well, not just the kit.
 

Is there a spreadsheet for the 3090 FTW3 HC that is broken down by seconds?  There are 17 people at 10:00 right now.  The difference between #2 and #17 could be weeks... months...

Head over to the 30 series hybrid/hc thread, i am pretty sure most of those 17 people, including myself, had reported the queue times up to the second in there. You can scroll and get the time yourself, the 4/16 batch stopped at 10:00:17 and hasn’t moved since.

Didn't see the one you mentioned, but did go look at the google doc one again and he put "skipped" on everyone that has a 10:00 time... What does that mean?

This is the link to the page around after the drop last week. I am not sure what skipped mean but all i know is the queue stop at 10:00:17.

Curious.  I noticed, via the card specs, the non-HC FTW 3090 cards have 2 BIOS and the HC FTW 3090 card has 1 BIOS.  Why does the FTW HC card only have 1 BIOS?

Hopefully it's just a typo/oversight on the details page. I'd argue a 'normal' vs 'OC' BIOS switch should be expected more on the watercooled models than air models, no? 

To clarify, I mean both air and watercooled cards should have the option, but it makes less sense to overlook it on the HydroCopper imo.

From what I understand the only difference between the Bios’ is the OC sets the fans to run at 30% min. Otherwise they are the same. That said, having a second bios is still desirable in the case of a failed vbios update. Here’s hoping we still get two bios’

Could you please say something about the temperatures of the GPU and memory on the back?

If I can finish loop assembly this week, i'll gladly share some temps. I was hoping to get to it the last 2 weekends and life has just not allowed it.

wish i could share more details on how it performs. not a complaint, but by the time i can actually get it in action to take it for a spin, KPE HC block will be here and i'll have to choose which one gets a run out first. i know i know good problem to have :)

Ah sorry yeah I should have specified, thanks for the clarification. I had the second bios in mind for update purposes since, well, don't exactly need to worry about fan speeds with a HC eh? It just doesn't make much sense to me to release a more expensive, enhanced (for lack of a better word) version, but take away even a minor feature at the same time.

 
Honestly, it wouldn't be too surprising. There have been high-end SKUs in the past that lacked features on lower tier cards. Maxwell Hydro Coppers lacked BIOS switches on all but the KPE, IIRC.

Does the OC switch do anything meaningful for the HC version out of the box? Or is it just fodder for the 450W vBIOS or the inevitable mining vBIOS crack?
