I live in Texas and we already had a week of snow so winter is here.

That's more like northwest Oklahoma.

Mid november is coming.... any news?? (hype!)
anyway, hope that pink/blu will be a lid film and could be removed...

Good point, it may just be a thin plastic protective film that peels off, as is the case with much of their hardware.

It sure looks like a protective film to me.  Looking close at the nearest end the red dots appears to go over the corner of the acrylic.  And the purple edge nearest the camera appears to have crinkles in in (the little white lines vertically).

The image you're all posting is a render, not the actual card.  The lighting is just a render of the ARGB that you can configure across the card.  Without RGB, the color is clear acrylic that uses a special coating with a dot pattern.

Ohh that's good to know, thanks so much for the clarification! Aware that the pics are just a rendered image, but was not aware of that RGB tech.

Should we expect any Hydro Copper 3080s or has this been pushed back since they are effectively End of Life to be replaced with the 3080Ti?  And will there by a 3080Ti Hydro Copper?

3080 HC cards will be coming soon.

I'm afraid that I'm not aware of any other 30 Series cards that have been officially announced by NVIDIA, so I cannot answer your question.

Will a date that they'll go up on the store be announced or should we all just keep refreshing our browsers? I've been checking a dozen times a day for updates since we entered "mid November" lol

That's kind of ridiculous. We've been asking for an update for weeks, and got nothing other than mid to late November estimate. Then they just put them up without any heads up? Of course they sold out instantly for anyone that happened to look, and we can't even join in for notifications. How is anyone not just refreshing their website all day supposed to get one?

What you'll need to remember is that supplies of NVIDIA Ampere GPUs are still limited worldwide to ALL manufacturers. Each NVIDIA partner is only going to receive a limited number of those GPUs to support ALL of their part number SKUs. It is hoped that in the days to come Samsung can crank out more Ampere GPUs for NVIDIA.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I feel like you completely missed the point. I am not saying that I deserve to have this card right now just because I've been waiting for one. What I am saying is since you already have a que system in place, why would you put up a notify me button up for 5 minutes without any kind of notice? The "notify me" button was used in a way worse than the initial launch of the 3000 series. At least back then we knew when the cards will be launching, rather than the broad mid to late November time frame we were given with this. So anyone at work, or school, or otherwise busy with anything had absolutely no chance to be ready for these cards to go up on the website.

I agree, a precedent was kind of set with 3090/3070 cards regarding announcing a time the notify buttons would be active. This time was just random

I can't personally speak for EVGA but card stocks go up on the EVGA website as soon as they are received, regardless of the time of day. Until stock levels increase to meet demand this is how it has to be unless EVGA changes their procedures.

Have you missed the 3000 series launch? they've used a queue system for new card launches for the past 2 launches 3090, 3070

Missed the point, missed the launches.

Seriously, this community has been begging for updates and all we got was the nebulous "mid-November" answer.  Then Jacob goes and drops the nugget on twitter with no heads up here.  I've been F5'ing the 3090 page for weeks now waiting for the HC and apparently missed the notify by like 5 minutes while sitting on the throne.  It is frustrating as hell.

I'm in the same boat, i got a new system i just refreshed/built with zen 3.. waiting on that video card! ignore that top tube, i had to bend it a bit more for new motherboard =p.. waiting for video card to re-do the entire loop.

they sell only the cards with hybrid/HC block as a whole? you can't buy the block itself alone?

****

The hybrid block is available.

no one wants the hybrid block tho.
i want to buy the hydrocopper block standalone

eithe way. Watercool will have their FTW3 Ultra blocks also by beginning on December, and they'll cool better anyways.
