jay2nice000Will this be a part of the step up?
xfactor23First time posting so no sure how it looks to mention another company but, did everyone see the new ASUS water cooled 3000 series coming out? They look really good if you prefer something a little cleaner looking.
xfactor23I was more so talking about the non Hybrid models that are strictly just the waterblock. Would love to post a couple pics of them but doesn’t seem to be working from my phone.
Dabadger84Well there'll be a queue system like with the other launches, so as long as you catch it "day of" release, you shouldn't have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get one, since they assumeably are building up a decent amount of stock prior to launch... at least I hope they are cuz otherwise O_o
dominic2189I have the 1070Ti SC Hybrid and my brother has the 2080 Super FTW3 Ultra Hybrid and we love our cards. I am honored to hand my card down to my best friend as I upgrade to the HC :D.
EVGA_JacobFSome updates on the HC models as below. Will continue to update as more info is available:Full cover block with G 1/4 fittingsAvailable in XC3 and FTW3Latest availability update = Mid/late November
dustingg Port are still on that wide layout........ only 1 set of MLCC's caps... Forcing me to go to the Asus water blocked card. EKWB layout is far superior. ASUS uses all MLCC capacitors exclusivelyThis will be the first time I go ASUS. bums me out. I've die hard EVGA for over 15yrs now.

I've die hard EVGA for over 15yrs now.I think the issue is finding the right mix of MLCCs and POSCAPs as both have their pros and cons. To quote, MLCCs are smaller, cheaper, and have high current, voltage, and temperature ratings. They also operate better at higher frequencies. But they're prone to cracking and piezo effects and have poor temperature characteristics. The more expensive POSCAPs, meanwhile, have lower voltage ratings and aren't as good at high frequencies, but are not prone to cracking or the piezo effect, and operate better at high temperatures. ..so having only all of one or the other is not necessarily better.
Razrback16So is ASUS actually selling pre-blocked 3090s? I'm trying to avoid having to install it myself this time around if possible.

xfactor23Also, Gigabyte showed off there new waterforce graphics cards and, they look really clean as well. Nice to see there will be some good options for water cooled cards coming soon.
