Yep, I'm waiting on Aquacomputer myself. Always found their gpu blocks to be superior to others.

EVGA have been asked this question a heap of times, and I've yet to see an answer. I'm in the same boat - have a 3090 FTW3 Ultra card, and all the components to convert to a full CPU+GPU loop except the GPU block, so I'm just sitting here looking at all the gear and sighing, lol. I've pre-ordered an OptimusPC GPU block, but I don't expect to see that until December at some time (hopefully by then at least). Almost $400 for that block. Yikes.

I can't personally speak for EVGA but card stocks go up on the EVGA website as soon as they are received, regardless of the time of day. Until stock levels increase to meet demand this is how it has to be unless EVGA changes their procedures.
This wasn't even for something in stock. It was to join a que to have a chance to order a card in December. This process was a change in the EVGA's procedures from what they did at 3000 series launch.

I also want a waterblock for my ftw3 ultra, but I am trying to figure out if I want to try to get a HC version and return the card to Amazon (possibly cancel before it ships in a week) or just buy a new waterblock when they release. The problem is I don't know when a third party waterblock will be available, and I can't justify ~$400 for the optimus one.

Damn...only 50 bucks more for the Hydrocopper, and I wouldn't have to take my card apart to install it.
I don't suppose there's a 'trade up' option to go from the 3090 FTW3 ultra, to the Hydrocopper FTW3 Ultra is there?
Or any chance they sell the block to us 'early adopters' for $50.00?

So not going to lie pretty upset that this whole time I thought the hydros/hybrids had not gone on sell yet but in reality the first batch is already sold out! Literally they sold out of the “Auto Notify” button and we have to go back to waiting. I thought the whole point of the auto notify button was so we didn’t have to go back to the site everyday and constantly be hitting F5.

There's really no reason not to have a pre-order selection, with an understanding that you'll be put in a queue. Charge a nominal pre-order fee to hold the place. Everyone knows the demand for these cards is high. Not everyone has the time to constantly check a website every 5 seconds. At least this way we can know we're going to get a card - but that we may just have to wait a few weeks. You can't tell me that EVGA doesn't have some internal estimates of the demand for each model. Also - please consider doing something about that red swoosh on the block! It totally defeats the purpose of having addressable RGB when there's a permanent color running through it.

My honest guess is demand for 3080 will probably die down a bit after the release of Cyberpunk. People wont be scrambling to get any GPU they can find to play the game if the game has been out for a few days/weeks already

Missed the point, missed the launches. 
Seriously, this community has been begging for updates and all we got was the nebulous "mid-November" answer. Then Jacob goes and drops the nugget on twitter with no heads up here. I've been F5'ing the 3090 page for weeks now waiting for the HC and apparently missed the notify by like 5 minutes while sitting on the throne. It is frustrating as hell.
Yep I and many others don't use Twinker or any other garbage like that, as somebody else pointed out we should expect a professional company to send out a mass email to it's members when stock arrives. I get emails every day from NewEgg and other places, yet absolutely nothing from evga ever.

Which kind of sucks considering the blocks should (assuming) be easier to produce than the Ampere cards themselves... I suppose it just means I may end up going with an EK block over the EVGA one.

Whole thing feels poorly handled, I didn't find out about Jacob's tweet until after the queue was full and the button was gone, I'd been refreshing the store page several times a day for the past week and missed the window for the early cards by less than an hour... Can't wait to finish my build in March lol

Probably would not have mattered even if you were here. I was on this site at the time as were a heap of others - the auto-notify button for the 3090 Hydro and most of the other Hydro cards was literally gone in a few seconds. I think there was a 3080 XC3 Hybrid that lasted a little longer, but that's about it.

I think that there are better options. Unless something has changed this generation (yet to be seen), EVGA's recent hydrocopper coolers have been pretty shoddy. Also, why in the world did EVGA manufacture it as a 1.2 slot cooler!?!?! What is EVGA's problem!?!? They had to make it a little taller to get the proper RGB bling and aesthetic patterns!?!? Will EVGA ever learn how to make a proper waterblock? It is infuriating. Year after year after year, why can't they learn? It is idiotic. It's getting to the point of being insulting to anyone who cares seriously about water cooling. It's a joke. A complete joke. Buy a better waterblock from a better manufacturer. Or, if you are a joker who knows nothing about water cooling, buy this joke.

I was specifically talking about the Hydro Coppers which were gone in seconds, I did mention the 3080 XC3 Hybrid that lasted longer and apparently a couple of other hybrids did too, although I recall someone mention one came back again, maybe that was the 3090 Hybrid. I never even saw the 3090 HC with a notify button, it was that quick. I also got a few "website is full" or whatever messages, which makes me wonder how many people/bots were just sitting there F5ing all day.

Yeah I remember you responding you got in on that - one of the very few. I think only 2 people responded to say they were able to get on the 3090 FTW3 Ultra HC queue, so gratz! I don't know if it was bots or just lots of people with too much time on their hands lol. I believe Jacob twittered it first, so a lot of non-forum people likely got in there.
