Hey
Would you recommend the Lamptron Inverterless?
How bright is it from a scale of 1-10?
Thanks

Build quality is nice but as far as brightness i would give it a 7 out of 10.

The cover on it is not clear so there is def more brightness 2 be had but i can't determine if it will suit my needs until i get all the tubing in.

Thanks.
I might get one then.

Started some leak testing today and so far after an hour nothing is leaking!

This is not the final loop design as far as the bottom gpu to the pump but i was getting anxious to finally leak test it so excuse that.

I kind of feel like there should be more pressure/flow being pushed through the loop but i am only basing this off the movement of the liquid in the res -

The pump is at max speed btw

What UV light are you using? It's very bright.
1 or 2?
Thanks

After final loop design thoughts and pondering i placed another order tonight and this should be the last for a while -

Enzotech 90 Degree Rotary Compression Fitting  ID1/2 - OD3/4 - Matte Black X2

EK-BAY SPIN Reservoir - Plexi - The XSPC 1 i have now is nice but just has a boring feel to it so i wanted something that will add more flare.

Enzotech Stop Plug - Matte Black X3

MaxFinder Triple Braided 3-Pin Fan Extension Cable - 60cm Black - 3 Pack X2

4-Pin Molex Powe Adapter Cable w/ Remote On/Off Toggle Switch - 36" Sleeved

Sunbeamtech Rheosmart 6 Fan Controller - This have been out of stock every where for a while and i figure for the money they have great reviews so it should suit me well.

Akasa PWM Fan Splitter Cable - 15cm X3 - So i can run 2 fans on each channel

I have been thinking about adding a 140mm rad and fan to the middle partition fan location.

I am curious if this will be overkill and impede flow or is it worth it to some degree and how would i incorporate it in to the loop ?

Ordered a few small items tonight to touch up the build a little bit -

Apevia 140mm UV Green LED Case Fan - This will go to the middle partition fan location to add more pop.

Bitspower Dual LED - Pre-wired with 4-Pin Connector - 5mm Green - For the EK Spin Res

MaxFinder Triple Braided 3-Pin Fan Extension Cable - 60cm Black 3 Pack - I need 3 more to make the run to the fan controller cleaner

Molex Extension Cable 36" Black Sleeved - Cheap and i can def use em.

Ordered a few more things tonight -

XSPC 5.25" Drive Bay Temperature Sensor Display Frame -

XSPC LCD Display Temperature Sensor - Green X2 - Going to use to monitor the interior temps. I wanted something to monitor the coolant temp but the only thing they offer is a stop plug which would have to be soldered on to this unit.

Molex Extension Cable 36" Black Sleeved X2

Phobya Noise Destructor V.1 for Pump Decoupling - I am using this to hold my loop coming from the bottom video card to the top of the pump. It sags down so i need something to support it.

FilterRight 120mm Aluminum Fan Filter UV Green - For the rear intake 120mm fan

Decided too hold off on the Caselabs build until next year some time since it seems crazy to switch cases so fast after all this work.

I will improve on this 800D build in the mean time with the following -

Swiftech Maelstrom Dual Bay Basic Standalone Reservoir - It should be an improvement over the EK spin res in some way shape or form.

Bitspower Galaxy Freezer DIMM4 RAM Liquid Cooling Block - Clear - Its useless i know but i want to add more pop to other wise boring looking ram.

Bitspower Universal RAM Cover X4

I am also changing my drain plug set up to something more simple in design -

I wont have a feed coming off the bottom of my video card and back to the pump anymore so i can just run a tube to the bottom of the case with this drain plug attached.

Bitspower D5 Mod Pump Top V2 (Acrylic Version) - To add more pop visually and also add more performance in the process.

hm.. hey wildwill, are you still using aurora liquid?

cuz im looking at the maelstrom res, that "anti-vortex" sponge doesn't look too healthy for aurora's pearl particles...

I was convinced not to you use it for 24/7 use since my computer is consistently on for that period of timer or longer. I am currently using Mayhems UV Green/Distilled Water. I should have the Maelstorm up and running soon so i report back if i have any issues with the coolant i am currently using.

aah ok, yeah i've been told by many as well as read up on it, that the aurora is a nice showcase liquid but not a good daily, as the in-system life is relatively low because of the particles, especially in complex systems and block/pump compatibility.

and you know... i just realized how close our system specs are, lol

I have been thinking of some where else to mount my D5 pump since i have it sitting right above the middle partition 140mm fan location. I am mounting a Corsair AF140mm fan there and i want to put out as much air flow as i can with no restriction.

The only idea i can come up with because i will not be mounting the pump in the PSU heat chamber is this -

There is a sliding cover that slides over the HD hot swap sata board right above the said 140mm fan location. I can most likely drill 2 holes through it and mount 1 of these brackets to it and adjust the pump as i wish for the best tubing run.

Any 1 else have a better idea ?

If any 1 is not familiar with these water cooling based brackets -

I received my Bitspower ram block today and realized the base is made up of a high durability nickel finished in shining black.

I originally thought it was made of solid copper based of this product description but it is not -

Block Base Made Of Hi-Quality Copper.
Block Base High Durability Nickel Finished In Shining Black.

Will this impact anything along my loop since everything else is pure copper ?

Few more items arrived today -

Swifttech Maelstrom dual bay res -

I have not seen many reviews or anything 1 with this res on OCN so i look forward to integrating it to my build and sharing my thoughts.

Bitspower Ram Water Block -

I am doing this for looks only and at this point in my build i might as well go all out.
