I buyed in amazon a Z20 Gaming Keyboard I got it yesterday but when I'm testing it i noticed the enter key in the numpad isn't working... I'm from venezuela and it's more expensive return the keyboard to get another so I want to fix the key by miself... But when I read online that the keyboard doesn't allow to change switches I started to wonder how can i change that one... anyone have a video about that with exactly this kind of keyboards?

Sorry to hear that you're having such trouble with the keyboard. I recall someone else reporting the same issue a while back, but can't find the post.

• Unfortunately you're correct: the Z20 Linear and Z20 Clicky keyboards don't have swappable keys.
• Judging by this , the keyboard is not really user-serviceable, unless (or even if) you really know what you're doing. The reviewer actually broke some important pieces taking apart the keyboard for their review.
• If you plan to take the keyboard apart rather than send it back, you should definitely read the Disassembly page, first (linked above).

Before you do something drastic, you should try a few things, like:

• Install the latest Unleash software, and see if the firmware update (if there is one) will fix the issue.
• Perform a Default reset on the keyboard, using the Unleash software. Just click the Default button at the bottom. Of course, this will erase any changes you've made in the software.
• Just to be sure, try plugging the keyboard into another USB port (USB3), or an entirely different PC. Honestly this likely won't help, but trying odd things like this in troubleshooting can sometimes get you an answer. At least it might absolutely confirm the problem before you tear apart the keyboard.
• And try recording a macro using that key to see if anything actually happens. I would also test the keys around the Numpad Enter key, if you haven't already.

Thanks for the info about the dissembly, now that i see how hard it is i'll stay away from that idea... I tested what you say just to stay sure isn't a firmware or software problem.

I installed the unleash software when I first time connected the keyboard, this actualiced the firmware but nothing change, I tried to record a macro too, tested every key and everything it's correct but that numpad enter key still unrecgcognizable in the macro... Utiliced the default reset on the keyboard too but nothing and I tried another usb ports in my pc and other pc but it's the same :( I think it's just the key... I don't not mind too much about that, whit the software I changed the enter key with the + button and it's like I loss the '+' numpad button,but still a bit sad because this go in this way but... nothing to do...

Hi guys, I'm having the same issue, my enter key on the numpad just straight up stopped working, its only 3 months old or so!

Unfortunately I don't think you can fix it. I had the same problem with the first keyboard !

I have the Z20 a while on my 2nd PC and haven't had any issues. However, today I put the PC on, ran updates etc and uploaded the latest Firmware software via EVGA Unleash.
Aftewards, I noticed certain buttons no longer worked - like the Windows, ESC and Num Lock keys.
I found this thread and as per the advice - I did a "factory reset" via Unleah and then all the keys worked again. I have the UK Layout "811-W1-20UK-K2".
Anyhow, reluctant to run updates again so may leave it as is - but if you are having similar issues - the rest worked for me so thank you.
