I cant wait to see the benchmarks of the card compared to the 3090.
I heard youtubers speculate that it might be even a tad bit faster than the 3090 due to resizable bar support out of the box (by like 1-2%). Basically it should be top dog for gamin...

Put my card on the ready to pay and hope.
I'm not cancelling my existing notify queues, even with Elite membership it'll just be more entries and probably nothing for months. Assuming that EVGA will allow EU elite members to place themselves on the queue.

That still means Nvidia will have already sent EVGA their first allocation of GPU's so that EVGA can start building them to wait for AIB release a day or a few days later.

For sure they don't need to wake up the whole internet and call out on social media that it is going live the next minute. Be more consumer friendly, and keep it on the forum and website first, and after awhile like 5 hours later announce it on social media. Cause we know the whole "Elite" program is a huge success, and that group can cause a server power surge tsunami alone :) (someone maybe should make a topic about how EVGA should handle the announcement to make it go smooth for the "Elite" consumers)

Looking at aftermarket - I would say that some miners are full and not making investments for now... But with a new card, I am interested how it will perform and is there some genius who can crack the limiter.

ABS models equipped with i7 or i9 and 3090 are still available for sale on newegg website. These models have rather poor ventilation and suffer from lack of expansion capacity, both for motherboard (few PCIe slots) and for PSU (not enough wattage for multiple GPUs).

Registering after 30 minutes would not be THAT bad if everyone had the same exact problem.

Are you trying to scare people away from the queue?  Seriously though, I agree with you that the servers wont survive the massive DDOS attack that is about to happen, but that also means less people will succeed in actually registering, so in some way that evens it out a little bit. It's worth it to try at least, who knows, you might get lucky.

I don't care at all.
Windows 10 updates screw extend display option so I can't play in 4K on TV unless unplug PC monitor.
Current 3070 is quite enough to play on 2560x1440 144Hz monitor.
People are fanny asking WHEN will be a new card release (most probably paper launch).
Even leather jacket have no idea when is that going to happen.
