I SHOULD have all three of my GPU’s by Tuesday, so I went ahead and registered with my best guess PPD for the entire event (cut down to be a daily number of course).

I forsee a SAND BAGGIER

Starting with a 3080, and adding 2 3090’s when they finally get here.

Oh...I can't wait to see this guessimation...!
Been doin some research for ya Scarlet
scott@bjorn3d
3080 FTW3 Ultra, boosted memory 1000 and core 100 and card is rocking great.  My largest PPD to date is today after doing the overclock.  6.5mill PPD

Let's see how this goes eh kerryd...

No only got the 980ti to fold on well do have the 2 770 hydro's but I game on then 10 hours a day .A folder did offer me a 1080 but I can not fold like I once did so told them to find a better folder  . Other folder offered me a Power supply . This is the best community I have ever been a part of .I got that 980ti just for a TZC a few years a go . I am not sure of how many TZC I been in I do know I have not missed one after I started folding . This use to happen every year + a few other contests . I been in every one . I can up my PPD but I could not pay power bill . I fold as much as I can even though I still got servers that got dropped from big after a real short time . On top of every thing only reason I fold is because of EVGA true story . I get power to barn I mite add a little crunching to my folding I miss crunching . lol forgot you giving me a 3090
SmookinJoe ill fold on it haha

Yeah my PPD is completely wrong because I had no idea what to put or what this GPU was capable of.  I'll be folding part time, should be somewhere in the 2-3M PPD range - I put like 500k cuz  that's what it was showing me until I got my PassKey & it started showing me what my bonus points for time-of-completion would be.

The passkey ... quick return points ... takes 10 completed WU - before you will see your score potential

You have only completed 3 WU

I was under a similar rock and with a similar point production. Almost 5 years later and turning stuff back on. A 750ti and a 1650 super plus some cpu folding is all I have until some GPU availabilty starts happening again. Good to be back and glad to stumble across a contest too.

I poked all three and requested they start folding for 111065 and to reach out to me or this thread if they need assistance.

WOah, woah, WOAH... way above and beyond. Shall we PM them instead?

{thank you electryon, sorry I couldn't help it.}

Haha, no worries, hopefully we don't have to resort to shocking them.

Shocking should work...Might have their pm's turned off so..
I hesitated to do this but..
I threw a couple of Broadcasts into the mix...

What resolution you running on your monitor?  If you scroll to the right there should be an embedded scrollbar that you can use to see the lower part of the contestant list.

I signed up yesterday.. I used to fold for EVGA a number of years back.  I think it was back when I had my 560 Ti's in running.  Anywho, I've already started crankin away on some WUs to get the old GTX 1080 warmed up.

Way to be! 560ti was my first folding card way back in the day before the GPU QRB.

troy will probably accept people after the 18th on this thread only - not the signup page

because the time zone challenge is also a challenge for teams to find more folders as well as more PPD

and troy will disperse people to different teams to try to keep them balanced (meaning you are in other time zone - no matter what.... and get put in a zone that is lagging behind in the contest) or at least thats what it been in the past
don't know what troy will do - maybe this will give him a reminder to post what he is willing to do after the signup date

Yeah I know, but the PPD readout on the interface itself shows what the Bonus/Total PPD would be as soon as you setup the PassKey.
Got past 10 WUs while I was asleep today, should be gravy from here on out.

Acts like a bit of an artificial/supplemental room heater the Hybrid radiator does - isn't a ton of heat as the card is only hitting 43-51C depending on the Work Unit, but I have a thermocouple on the radiator's exhaust air to measure the air-temp & use that via my motherboard to control the speed of the fans on the GPU Radiator, according to HWInfo64, it had 32-33C air temp coming out of it for the duration of that 6+ hour folding session.

So, as things currently stand, 132 entries are in the signup.

Of those, there are two duplicate entries, so we're down to 130.

Of THOSE, 124 are currently with active points in the stats for TeamEVGA, and are already set up in my collection system.

The remaining 6 are:

miyoshi82
DarthCanada
merintil
Weslryg1 - Forum name is wgunder1
TechnoSide2
Shizzle_Popped - Forum name is jvandyne

I know at least one (DarthCanada) responded to electryon's PM earlier and indicated they didn't intend to fold, but I'm giving the 6 of them until 4pm EST (5 central) tomorrow to post numbers before I completely discount adding them to the stats system.

Any late entries will be vetted by troy8d and myself and we will announce ABSOLUTE DROP DEAD CUT OFF at some point tomorrow. So, these are your last few hours to either post points to be included or to TRY to get a last second entry into the contest.  After that CUT OFF is announced, there WILL BE NO MORE ENTRIES.  I mean it.  My wife means it! When she says it's time to step away from the keyboard and hang with the family, it's TIME!! *laughs*

Otherwise, get those last minute PC tune ups done!  I've been seeing a LOT of talk that reminds me of watching a field full of alcohol burning funny cars in my youth getting prepped for their drags. I can almost smell the fumes . . .

would be a good idea to see what extra flags I need

-bigadv???

client-type ->advanced
vs
client-type->beta

i should still be on beta team

on a sad note I had to drop my OC to 4.6
not thats it's unstable - I need more rads
82c is not where I want to be at

it's alright - i have my old custom WC loop I can move over at some later date
i will need two 200mm rgb fans , two 200mm rads, two 3x140mm rads and 3x140 rgb TT ring fans
and clear tubing

for now 4.6GHz at 75c isn't all that bad on 18cores

XZ, I don’t think -bigadv works any more and may hinder you. Don’t know about the other 2 but probably won’t hinder you.

you are correct
pics will be incoming real soon - im waiting on my xmas gift

I think beta may result in more failed WU's - but possibly more erratic PPD numbers too - some too low some too high

Yes - Beta is prone to failed WU & you should be willing to communicate - help the Beta development .... it is not for everyone

Oh dang!!! UPS was like “we heard you have a folding competition starting before your GPU arrives, so instead of delivering it Monday we will deliver it today (Saturday)... Merry Christmas ya filthy animal, and fold for the cure”

I will officially be starting with one 3080 and one 3090, with the other 3090 supposed to return Tuesday... hopefully DHL international has those UPS vibes going!
