drougnor So, as things currently stand, 132 entries are in the signup. Of those, there are two duplicate entries, so we're down to 130.
Of THOSE, 124 are currently with active points in the stats for TeamEVGA, and are already set up in my collection system. The remaining 6 are: miyoshi82 DarthCanada merintil Weslryg1 - Forum name is wgunder1 TechnoSide2 Shizzle_Popped - Forum name is jvandyne
I know at least one (DarthCanada) responded to electryon's PM earlier and indicated they didn't intend to fold, but I'm giving the 6 of them until 4pm EST (5 central) tomorrow to post numbers before I completely discount adding them to the stats system. Any late entries will be vetted by troy8d and myself and we will announce ABSOLUTE DROP DEAD CUT OFF at some point tomorrow. So, these are your last few hours to either post points to be included or to TRY to get a last second entry into the contest. After that CUT OFF is announced, there WILL BE NO MORE ENTRIES. I mean it. My wife means it! When she says it's time to step away from the keyboard and hang with the family, it's TIME!! *laughs*
Otherwise, get those last minute PC tune ups done! I've been seeing a LOT of talk that reminds me of watching a field full of alcohol burning funny cars in my youth getting prepped for their drags. I can almost smell the fumes . . . d
I just sent a PM reminder to all except DarthCanada, since you indicated they won't fold. I hope this gives them a kick start. All PM's went through.

We encourage scrounging up extra horsepower for the contest. Deliberately underreporting expected ppd is discouraged and against the rules.

Consider your ambient temps in your home and adjust accordingly. Are those temps way higher than gaming?

Hey Techno, if you haven't done so, you need to set up a passkey. It requires you fold 10 WU before you can get the higher credit called Quick return bonus. It will increase your PPD {points per day} Post 187 has a bit of info. Info, and how to get a passkey in link. https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/passkey/^^ passkey info. @wgunder1, I think you may need to do the same thing. : passkey.

The CPU is definitely running higher temps than gaming, GPU not so bad. It's the GPU that generates the bulk of the folding, so toning down the CPU clock a little won't make a huge difference. Can't make it too cold here - my Mrs won't be happy with that - she usually has the heating pegged around 78 in winter (which I just checked - that's what it's set for right now). I can make the office a little cooler but not much. No worries. Back in about 100 minutes!

Good luck. I'm not running my CPU's and my rigs are in my basement where hopefully they will warm the floor above like "heated floors" And maybe melt some of the snow dump that we got the other day.

None of the listed above were showing points by the 10pm EST stats pull for Team EVGA and I have to seal the system up and kick things into contest mode now. I apologize for the two of you who put the effort in to try to get in, but we're just too close to contest start now. All entries are now CLOSED. Crank up your folders and let's ROCK AND ROLL!

As usual, the actual times the flat files from Folding @ Home publish drift a bit, but currently they are at half past the hour. Publishing to the contest site should be no longer than 10 minutes away from whenever the flat file publishes, worst case scenario, so you may see a little drifting on the 'hourly' updates, but the points WILL be up as soon as they can be! d

As I said, I had to lock down the contest stats system and you weren't in the EVGA list for producing in time. I'm sorry that I can't just insert you, but the system doesn't handle 'nothing to pull' entrants well at all. You aren't the only one, there are 6 names in total that didn't make it into the final contest for the same reason. d
