Another boring person here.
I've already got a good size down payment on a savings account but I'd bump it up for a nicer house. Then upgrade car, and then put the other 9.9M in my index funds.

Pay off all debts, set up immediate family financially. With the say 5 million left spend 1 million on a place in Aruba and the rest can be invested in something slow and steady.
Last.FM used to be a lot better.

I'd probably get a McLaren Senna if I were getting one. I'd probably just get something like an eTron instead of a hypercar though.

First thing I'd do is quit my job, followed by (in order):
- Buy a house in somewhere in Nevada/Utah/Oregon/Wyoming, under $1 mil including furnishings
- Buy 2 cars, nothing absurd, something like a 2020 Camaro ZL1 and something a little fancier, would want to keep the purchase of both under $200,000 since cars don't last forever and lose value quickly
- Dump 50K into all of my hobbies and tech
- Invest 7.5 million, 2.5 in stocks, 2.5 in crypto, 2.5 in real estate, earning passive income on each.
- Help out family and a couple friends with $1 mil, and hold the remaining $250k to live off of while money trickles in from investments
- Travel travel travel travel

first thing i would do is to buy a house for my mom and dad and pay it all off. They are living paycheck to paycheck with little to no retirement funds as it all went to bringing us up. (paycheck being mine and my brother's monthly contributions). I would also love to set aside enough such that even just the interest would be sufficient to have them live comfortably forever and ever. If i could take them away for a vacation any time i wanted, and bring them around the world to see the sights and eat amazing food, i would be so grateful. Unfortunately due to the realities of life, this is still something i can only dream about. We still manage the occasional holiday, but i would love it if i could do much more.

I'd pay off all my debt, then my mom's, then my father's. I'd then buy a new house for my mother and perhaps one for myself. I try to invest most of my money and go travel.
