-3 to family (mostly mother) -3 set aside for charities/aid etc. -4 for me (2 of which goes to investments savings etc., and the other 2 goes to setting myself up in a nice little spot on the water.)

Buy a nice house in a nice neighborhood (max will spend 2mill depending on location)
Buy a nice car that will last me for at least a decade.
Set aside a few million for investments
Invest a million into a business.
Set aside money for travel.
Set aside money for future wedding 😂

I would invest most of it and try to pretend I never received it, except I would pay off my parents' house. If invested properly, it would allow me to make donations to good causes and help others.

I would put it all in an index fund that has a 4-6% return rate and not touch it for 10 years. In the meantime, I'll keep doing what I do now with my current job With a 4-6% return rate, by the end of those 10 years I'll end up saving $10,480,244 ~ $10,790,848. From there I'll just quit my job and take out $80k a year and live the rest of my life on that. I'm frugal, and living off of $80k a year is easily doable in my area. Plus, combined with my gf's income (who'll hopefully be my wife by then), we can easily live comfortably for the rest of our lives. And even then, we can take out a combine income of $160k and STILL make money Heck, I can even stay an extra year at work and use the returns to buy and rent out property and get even more money.

Honestly i would travel the entire world for at least 1 full year with my family and i would also have a home built on some acre's of land. I would buy my dad his dream car (maybe top 2 cars) and i would invest in a few things like crypto and just have a passive income.

My answer is no fun, but probably in line with what I would actually do.
1) Take care of any outstanding debt (pay off mortgage).
2) Address any immediate quality of life purchases (small items that I was already saving for… probably total maxes out at $3000)
3) Everything else will be invested
$10 million should be enough to retire and live off of passive income from investments. However, that does not mean immediate retirement at my age, simply due to boredom. But I would certainly have a more relaxed approach to work.

I would buy myself a nice house, not a mansion. As rent prices are exploding in developed countries and then I would travel around the world, see all the nice places that might not exist in a couple of years. And then I would look to invest into an own startup, promoting environment-friendly gaming, life style etc.
Unfortunately, 10 million is not much, if you want to make a difference in the world :S
