Hi, I'm Siwy.  While I've been signed up since March to the forums and trying to get my own 3070, I actually do want to contribute some too.  I'm a tabletop RPG gamer for the most part, but Final Fantasy 14 is my fave MMO and I can't play it until my new setup is ready.  I'm an autistic woman who loves anime, writing fiction (usually superheroes) Ancient Egypt, and generally having a good, clean time.  My current build is my first one ever, as I've only ever had prebuilts before.  I have all of the parts right now, except the gpu and a copy of windows 10.
 
So, yeah.  Hope to see ya'll around the forums in a non-toxic way.  *waves*

Hi, new to posting here. Built my first computer back during the last mining boom so a bought a rx 560 as a placeholder. Decided to wait for the 30 series to upgrade (whoops). I'm trying for a 3060 or 3060ti currently.

I signed up back when the 3080 was new, and I added as a wish list item.
Those turned into a queue.  But alas I still have not got any emails to buy a 3080.
 
So now I'm here working to get 100 posts so I can get in the queue for the 3080TI and hope I have better luck.

Like many here I enjoy videogames, mainly on PC where I have quite a backlog (and yet I always play the same games). 
I also own a Switch, a 3DS, a Vita and a PS4 (since the PS5 doesn't exist lol).
Other than playing videogames I enjoy watching series/movies, browsing the interwebz (and maybe learn something new in the process), cooking, etc.
 
Oh and of course I'm also looking for a new GPU, aren't we all? xD
Never really had any EVGA products but I've heard they're a reputable company (at least US-side, hopefully the EU-side isn't trailing too much).
 
This forum reminds me of 10~ years ago when I used to hang around some Star Wars communities, even the emotes are very similar!
 
 

Hi had an account here for a hot minute when I had two 680s. Since then got two furys when they were $200 a piece. Looking to get a 3080ti. At this point I'd even settle for a stock 6900xt. EVGA and AMD are the only companies not gouging the public when it comes to GPU pricing. :(

For the first time, I'm going to build my own rig. Nothing fancy visually, it just needs to work. I intend to use it mostly for modelling and rendering, to a lesser though necessary extent for gaming. I've never been a huge gamer but I have a backlog of titles I would like to experience.
 
If I get the card... Ok, let's be more positive - when I get the card, either of the 3070 or 3080 verieties, and if everything goes well with the purchase and the product, I might just stick around for much more. The community itself seems worth it already.

Hi new here! Just wanted to say since having a GTX 970 FTW since 2013 I been in love with EVGA products. Making this my new home with my new build.

MisterBisco here. Had a 1660 super for quite some time, and only just managed to get a 3060 (from a different manufacturer) after three months of trying. Hoping to find my way into a 3060ti/3070 if possible - gaming at 1080p, but want to be as future-proofed as possible, as I don't see the GPU shortage ending any time soon.
