I'd love the guide, was thinking of building a 3d printer but this sounds a bit more fun, and it looks so good.

and FAR more useful
ok i will start digging up my dgm files
i will make a guide step by step and post it on my site
i might make a few mods to the disign so it can be made with avg tools as is now you really need a CnC to make it
or i might make kits with the CnC parts pre-cut
a lot of people seam to be getting in to CnC lately

I wouldn't mind buying a kit. What's your site? I'll have to check it out.

Ouch. Pricey copper lol. Well all copper is pricey really, I was more just saying.

You said you could do GPU pots right? If so how much would one be? You can PM it to me if you want.

not much cheaper then others you see
copper has gone up 39% in last 2 years
i have copper to build one full set of gpu and cpu pots
but that almost 40lbs of copper remember the finished product is 1/3rd what i start with
i do get the copper back at some point after i take and exchange it for more blocks but it's a lot of work
and my car died

i can cutout a small wood one about the size of my table top and give you a part list to build it
it will rip most things like thin sheets of alu (max around 1/4") and wood up to 1.5" thick
not very fast but with a total cost around 800$ to have have it running it's not bad.

it can cut things like water blocks you just have to have a lot of power in your cutting head 1.5hp+ and it's slow each copper plate for the TEC cooler took 14 hours (i was cutting inside pocket with a 0.5mm bit to get them thin fins)
plastics you can fly it cuts so fast
it's a good way to build a case

Holy crap. lol. That seems like a long time, but I guess doing fins and stuff would take a while. What do you do while it cuts? Do you watch or go do other things?

i went to sleep lol
i put 3" of hard foam on all the walls to my garage and the wall to the house got a coat of DynoMatt
i can't hear it after i shut the door and that's all that maters i do go and check on it from time to time.
i have good dust collectors and a 6000CFM filter going when they run so it stays clean and i don't have to think about a dust explosion
i don't have smoke alarms the dust sets them off but i do have CO & C02 alarms that will stop the CnC's and open the Garage Door
with out me doing anything. (Arduinos rock) i have a home made sprinkler system in the Garage (copper lines with fire heads every 4 feet)
my Garage is a 5 car but i don't think i can fit any cars (not that i have any)
i had a 69 cobra replica with a 351 and a blower but sold it to pay all my med bills fighting Cancer
Sold my SR-2 as well (

the TEC high amperage PWM board
5~48v 140A free air 200A with fan 240A with heat sink and fan 280A with 315A surge if added to water loop
it's tiny 4.75in X 2.55in X 0.75 w/o heat sink
it's 94.4~97.3% efficiency is nice and low heat per amp
