I have spoken to tech support gave them all the details on the fault and it sent them a video of the extreme cold whine that this card is also suffering with and they have authorised an RMA.

Quick question, do I ship the card in it's original retail box or not as its states no accessories as they wont be returned I dont want to use the original box if I the replacement will come in a brown box as I like the retail box.

Unless EVGA specifically states the use of the orginal box, I would return your defective card using the packaging they sent the new one in.

Good to hear EVGA is sending you a new card...  Let us know how the new one works out.

+1  This.  I always just ship the bare GPU to them and keep the rest.  Pack it with the soft stuff and make sure it won't bounce around in the package.

Cheers guys, I think 15 meters of bubble wrap plus a load of paper in a 50cm cubed box should do it.

One last question, I've noticed that the FTW Ultra gaming is always out of stock will I have to wait for new stock to come in before I get my new card?

Was hoping to keep my down time to a minimum

Posted I hope that packaging was good enough, wrapped it in 15 meters of bubble wrap and then created a shell of extra thick card board and smothered it in brown tape till it was air tight

Sounds pretty indestructible...

RMA is a separate inventory at EVGA
