Re: Do not even know what to name this... 2023/04/23 10:14:27 (permalink)
Well got a Porsche 911 Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition car model on the way from a Porshe dealer, still waiting on my OLED Displate CP 2077 limited poster, one key cap. So just the office left I have been putting off.

Also accomplished my goal since someone wanted attention that I do not believe owned an EVGA 3090 TI that felt the need to put EVGA on the front of his 4090 knocking those of us who actually owned one to multiple down on the Modrigs charts... I can go higher I need to drop my PCIE 16x down to Gen3 and play with my GPU clocks a little more to score even higher was talking to someone about my CPU score tanking the faster my GPU is oced and he said the IO controller is over stressed the higher I go thus dropping my CPU score. Have not played with DDR5 overclocking yet, nor read up on how to get it into T1 with Gear2. Just the GPU and CPU so far.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU is the best gaming CPU out right now, if you're looking for an alternative mod for a gaming PC.

See RJ the latest shenanigans this is one of the many reasons I avoid AMD. They should had taken the leash off over a decade ago on what ES testers, enthusiast, board manufacturers and and cannot do to their stuff so they could make a better product that can stand up to abuse intentional to unintentional. I probably would have already burned that 7800X3D to the ground not having a clue what I was doing with AMD or got one of the boards that will accidently yeets it into death.  Intel has a lead on that, I also care about my CPU score, and stuff just working. It has never failed since my early days of using AMD I ran into some kind of issue because of the hardware config I picked, to driver shenanigans. I was about to throw my FuryX and 480 back up cards out the windows due to old issues and some new ones coming to AMD drivers. The new carzy one it was cutting off the power to my PCIE slots on my motherboard using the latest amd GPU drivers on my old cards.

Only thing left to do is touchup painting, order some custom black/yellow power cables, custom sized black or dark grey blinds, put everything in my office into its place, and clean it, and order an Afterlife neon sign. Then my office & setup is 100% complete.

It was almost 12am here apparently they just released it on the website saw it in a newsletter update they had just released 1-3hrs prior. I didn't think twice... was like here bend me over and take my money I want at least one limited edition CP 2077 displate and this one is cooler than the last one. Apparently 600+ others ordered before I got mine according to the number on the back of it.

Yes it's the 1/43 scale and the one that you normally can only get at/from a Porsche dealer, the only other one around is the hot wheels one and its of course smaller. Have that one too.

Re: Do not even know what to name this... 2023/05/15 05:34:40 (permalink)
I may or may not put the latest windows 10 or windows 11 pre 22h2 on another m.2 to do a bench that would shoot my gpu score up and especially my CPU score I would be sitting around 25-28k on the cpu. Yet am being lazy and pretty happy atm. Temps/Score/Performance.  Windows 22h2 is painful push my gpu too far like 40k+ my CPU scores just tanks so let up on my gpu oc some to bring about 3k points back to my cpu score. maybe one day I will go through the extra trouble to get a 37-38k+ score. Yet I am not breaking any records accomplished my goal already with a handicap thanks to 22h2.

Here is CP 2077 344x1440 Basic settings turned off since they do not really add anything but blurriness/distortion. DLAA+RT OD+FG. Psycho RT+Reflections max everything else. Freesync/Gsync makes it super smooth to the eyes.  DLAA handles the graphic anomalies DLSS causes in combination of RT OD and FG, give up a good 30-40 frames on average. Visually though it's amazing, so it's a compromise I'm willing to make.

Nice score!

Its ok my cpu should be at just over 27k yet I have windows 11 22h2... So my score is hurting pretty bad I should be at 37-38k total score, maybe a little more depending on if the other version of windows still destroys my CPU score with a higher GPU OC If I gave it enough volts and I have not given it any yet topping out at 40k on the gpu. Just have no desire to get an extra m.2 for benching atm. Not breaking any records, and do a lot of gaming.

This pic makes me so want to get back into CP. I've only completed it once with about 150 hours in it, and I definitely want to jump back in and try one of the other starts.  I'll probably jump back in it when the 4090 Ti comes out.

If they had that 911 in 1/18, I'd be all over it. I have a bunch of 1/18 cars with a nice selection of Porsches - 911 slantnose, 959, 993 GT2, 993/996 GT1s, 996 Turbo, etc.

Its a fun game I have well over 600hrs, just have a couple melee achievements to do. 4090 more than handles it at least if you stopped at 3440x1440, the Super Ultrawides to 4k+ if you want all the eye candy without the visual anomalies DLAA is required over DLSS. Any higher than an Ultrawide frames and performance hits at least for me get to be a bit too much. As for a 4090 TI it will be 15% faster out of the box than a 4090. That gap can be closed on the 4090 to 3% with a moderate overclock. So I would not wait until then. We would probably have to wait for the 50 series for a big jump.

Well my custom ARGB Art Support bracket was obviously not made for an ASUS 40 series. Looks a little Janky, Just got an ASUS ROG Wingwall from amazon for nothing, So out with the old and in with the new next week.

Looking at some of the owners images its pretty sharp.

Scored this an ASUS Rog Swift PG35VQ for well over 50% off its EOL MSRP ASUS lowered it to.

Got this display used from some guy in the Hamtons up in NY. Perfect condition like as in brand new looking 1000%.

PC is fully upgraded, nothing more I want to do to it. The display is the best you can buy before moving to OLED, to MicroLED. I will say its color and everything is amazing.

Yeah I still cannot believe I got one at the price of 800, if I lived in Cali would have been able to snag one for just over 200 at microcenter.  Would probably have purchased three haha. Microcenter was dumping them due to well asus put it at EOL, and when something is put EOL most think there is something wrong with it especially if it's a display. When the fact it was way too expensive and not many were buying at that price, not to mention the panels are hard to make for the one company that made them. The display is amazing despite not being OLED or MicroLED.

Say, how do you like the curved screen ?

eBay has one for 750 atm from some guy in TN. Curved Ultrawide is odd at first but once you get used to it you cannot go back to a none curved & regular display.

Only a couple for me, have yet to have one this nice though. MicroLED nothing I want at 3440x1440 I like or I have seen anyways. OLED use my pc way too much I would end up with burnin with LG not being an option with their pound sand burnin policy, Corsair has a nice 45" but the pixel density is bad nor do I want to deal with an RMA if I did get burnin. Do not want to sacrifice any eye candy for performance so 3440x1440 is the cap for me so the ASUS Rog Swift PG35VQ and the Acer X35 is as good as it gets before moving to OLED or Microled. There are some nice Microled's that are nice at what I want, but it has at least one thing I didn't want or wish they included something else.

Well Windows 11 22h2 on its latest update has been fun, from having to find a way around to make my GPU boost fully again. To my EVGA Z20 keyboard apparently needing a new firmware update. Without one present and it happening a few times already and tired of my keyboard doing random stuff in games. I swapped it out for an ASUS Rog Claymore II at least ASUS is not going anywhere at least for now.
