Yeah the Lian Li vertical GPU works well if one does not have a rad at the bottom of the case. Otherwise, it's a no go for the Optimus KPE block.
That is entirely Lian li O11 series' problem. This series is the only popular series of cases with rad at the bottom.

Just a word of advice, once you have filled your loop, check to see that there are no leaks/seepage between the acrylic and the backplate. It happened to me, fragility and others. For me, the system passed the air leak test, but as I was running the pump only to purge out the air bubbles, I noticed the leaks.

3x 360’s isn’t that much. I have a pair of 560’s, 3x 480’s and a pair of 360’s in my case

This is exactly what I'm looking at with my NZXT H710i. I honestly don't get the hype of the lian li cases. In my experience there bigger and more fiddly than they are worth.

What exact model of caselabs case did Lian Li steal form for the design? The newer O11 series cases were all based off the older Lian Li O11 series cases. Are you saying Lian Li stole Caselabs design 10 years ago for their old O11 line designs?

The Magnum line came out over 12 years ago, the Merlin line just over 10. Thermaltake was the ones who outright stole a design. I believe Lian Li copied more of what was working for Caselabs and put that into their designs.

After some digging and research. I’ve come to the conclusion why white and silver isn’t being made available for the kingpin block. Cerakote doesn’t offer a heat dissipating coating other than P-202 Arctic black and C-187 Transfer Grey. White and silver cerakote have different properties, thus hindering thermal results. So for now black cerakote is the only option.

Built complete. Its performance is really impressive. I got 5 degree delta in game, 7 degree delta in timespy stress test. 8 degree delta when doing some OC 3dmarks run with LN2 bios no classified tool. I have never seen gpu temp get pass 40 degree. I don't think it's that slow. More like 3-5 a wk. Also I imagine they're getting to the end of the preorders now, been more than 60? Blocks shipped thus far. I imagine after that initial rush the order numbers will increase exponentially. For example, I am 6704 but I seriously doubt there are 1100 people in front of me that ordered this block.

Fits well. I did not use all of the inlet/outlet on the distro plate: outlet from bottom rad, inlet to GPU, outlet from GPU, inlet to CPU. GPU was installed horizontally. I used offset fittings.

This is what the first email that was sent to me “ I'm not sure if you saw that email that we sent regarding the hold on white cerakote. At this time, we are only going to be producing black gpu blocks. Is that change alright with you, or would you prefer to cancel?” I never replied back to the original email about switching to black when they first sent those mass emails out. So what I was thinking at first when I got that random email from them was that my block order number was coming up soon so those who have not sent a reply email back from the mass emails about the color switch they are trying to get ahold of the buyers to see if they still want the block but only in black color. Durning the second email they told me “ We're hoping to ship around the beginning of April.” since I asked when my order would be shipped out. So I’m thinking they did not switch my order number around it’s still the same. Hopefully I’ll get it in April, with the 40’s around the corner, at times I feel this block could be a big money waster since I game at 4k so having a better GPU is more my top priority for better frames then this block but only time can tell when ever I receive it or cancel if it’s getting closer to launch date.

As someone who ordered after the pre-order period, my hopes of getting my system up and running before summer are rapidly diminishing. I ordered with the thought I'd receive it in 6-8 weeks, and now were going on 4 months and counting with no good news in sight. Additionally, I've been waiting a full month to get a return email from them, and they still haven't shipped my other parts which said "in stock" which were ordered when I purchased the KPE block, stating they were actually still waiting on materials and they didn't have them on hand.
I would have cancelled long ago if I didn't spend a ton of cash already on all the other components, and if there was another option available. I'm almost thinking of waiting for 4000 series, getting a non-kpe and getting a block that will be available, but knowing how bad the supply chain is, especially with recent developments, that could also take a lot of time.
I did order matte black, FWIW.
