I asked ekwb about a kp 20 series block, they said no as well. The only one was that cheap one from China.

I can't believe evga wants $300+ just because it says kingpin on it.

I was also thinking about the kp models, how is the waterblock one $300 above the hybrid model, when it's just a piece of copper and acrylic, nothing else.
There is way more going on with the hybrid. Heatsinks on the vrms with a fan, the aio itself with 3 fans. Then the shroud.
If anything the hydro copper model should at least come with the vrm heatsinks and fan so you can still play with ln2.

They over promised and got ****ed by the shipping and product delays. That’s what they have done.
Next time don’t preorder during a pandemic and miss out.

Still waiting on the Kingpin block shipping notifications.  Someone on reddit posted a review and Optimus replied to them about shipping this week supposedly.  They are still active though not responding to request for information or not providing any real updates.  
 
I did email the person there who has helped me in the past and he reply didn't have anything informative other than they are still working out issues with the block and that they hope to get the process down better once the initial batch of pre-orders is sent out.  When that is, he didn't say.  
 
However the 3090 block I ordered about 5 weeks ago is being processed for shipping as I received the UPS notification.  They held that timeline almost to a mark even with the new cerakote process.  I will be waiting to get that in so I can finish up my son's pc and add his gpu to the loop.  
 
I'm kinda crossing my fingers that the blocks will be sent out soon, but trying to pass the time not thinking about it or the two Kingpins I have sitting a box waiting on the blocks to come in.

So it was true.  Optimus replied to my e-mail on Wednesday, indicating that they will ship yesterday or today.  I just did not share this because of the unfortunate track record of Optimus' promises.  Finally...

I also got a similar response via email about shipping out this week but didn't want to get to much hope into it, but even with my early order I still have not had a status change yet to my order status in their website.  I have a feeling they will be packing up the boxes and getting them ready to ship this weekend rather than sending them out today.  This is still good news as this release has been delayed enough.  I had another order that I did last week for the conversion of my AMD block to Intel and enough orings for all my blocks, additional replacement thermal pads, and mounting kit that had a status change already which was still showing "unfulfilled" as of last night to "fulfiled" this morning.

Yeah, I asked if I my order is in the first batch of shipping for the pre-orders, and unfortunately, I'm not.  So a bit more of waiting for me.  But, for those who are ahead of me, have fun with the block when you guys receive it!

A vertical mount might be an option if it doesn't fit.  Lian Li makes one for the O11 XL that has multiple mounting points that allows you to move the gpu either closer or further from the mobo when used.  You just need to make sure you have a long enough PCI-E riser cable to accommodate the movement necessary.  You should be able to use their mount in any pc case as long as it has a similar amount of slots available to fit the mount.  

I'm limited to the EK Shifted mount due to my case so I'll likely have to modify it to make it work. I'm rocking a Caselabs TH10 not a O11 XL
I'm order #5209 so I should be in the first batch, but I'm also having Optmius installing the block so that could delay me as well though I hope not

I'm right behind you at 5211 so I'll be posting here if my status changes.  You might get lucky as they could be using your GPU to ensure the process is what they expected when installing the block onto the gpu.  Crossing my fingers for you bro as we all have been waiting long enough.  

I can wait a few days if need be. System is all in pieces atm so it'll take me some time to put it all together and clean up all the cables. When you're rocking 7 radiators, 6 pumps and 65 fans, it can take me awhile to get it perfect

I don't want to even imagine how much you spent on fans.  Must be kinda funny if the question is ever brought up though.  
 
All my pc stuff is packed away due to home renovations so I wont be able to do my install right away either.  Just glad we are closer to getting the blocks though so that when I do have the space and all my tools and stuff I can do it when I need to.  I might have to pull some stuff out though as one of the Kingpins I have belongs to someone else so they might want their done earlier.
