nateman_doo I swore I posted pics somewhere of the mill? I am aligning the linear rails for the Y axis as the machine is cutting out the tops of this batch. Trust me, there will be pics. I tend to wait until the end and show them all at once. Cool can't wait.

Currently they are 0.005" difference. I would like it to be 0.0001 instead.

I just started milling the last 2 copper tops in the SR2 batch and I noticed the sheet I got was 1/2" too short. That is a big bottle of suck right there. Me & my copper supplier are going to have words tomorrow.

How in the world did you fill in all the thick lines? Is it a bunch of small lines blurred out, or did you hog out an extrusion or something? In any case, got the inner channels done of top #3.

the lines are .001 apart from each other(45000 lines of code) so it takes all the finish off of that area. then the acid turns it all dark. the acid works very well on copper

I have been thinking, not for any projects i have going now, but it would be really cool to do a steampunk sorta really patina aged look on these things
