nateman_doo safan80 I'd like to get one of these, I just grabbed an SR-2. Would you be interested in an acrylic version? Maybe... I've noticed that the top pci-e slot retention clip would be a little hard to press with the block so close to it. How long would it take you to come up with a design that has a finger sized notch in it?

You can just use a small screwdriver. I can't alter the block because the O-ring and screw patters would change. So you are interested in an Acrylic version? *side note* 10 pages? wow.

nateman_doo *side note* 10 pages? wow. lol, This thread has been home to many different conversations. The really Impressive part is that most of it has been related to the OP. The second impressive thing to me is that there has been basically no trolling as well. It's been refreshing. Just goes to show that your efforts and Ideas generate a lot of attention & show a lot of skill. Here here's to another 10 pages!! :) Do you happen to have a guesstimate when you may be ready to go back and begin to create the original water / air CPU coolers?

I hope it comes out nicely but I have no doubts that it will be magnificent. Thank you for the labor, I am certain this is only the start of our continued partnership. And I intend on sending more work your way both for my own system's and those whom I know who would also like custom work. Thank you for your time and patience, and of course efforts on my behalf! This stretches both to you Gratuitous and Nateman_Doo.

I understand how draining things like that can be having had some friends go through their own tours. I will completely understand if you wanted to take an extra week or two to unwind from your trip before jumping right back into it. No pressure man. Though Of course I wouldn't complain if you were not to take a respite. lol

a sample of some engraving going on Forgottens block. this was done on scrap steel, without clearcoat. I did acid wash it, but without the clear it blotched up the outside of the engraving as well. should look real good on the copper. too bad my cam sucks. lol the purpose of the acid washis to blacken just the line. if it isnt cleared first then it turns out like the sample above. btw, this is 35k lines of code, lol

i basically just dragged a .001 diamond without spinning it on my spring loaded head. but you do need as little backlash as you can get. took almost 20 min at 100ipm 35000 lines lol

Be sure to keep the coding you are using for my block in a few months I'll be having nate send you a second one to be engraved the same way for my second SR2 board. Once i get nate to finish his air / water cooled blocks if there is a surface that could take engraving I may commission you to do something on them too. We shall see! :) Ty Love how its coming, the dragon looks better then I expected. Showed my wife the sample pic's she just had a very long drawn out Wow as response. ;)
