I have three monitors plugged in. I believe two are dvi ports and one is hdmi. Every so often they flicker quickly. It's so fast you can barely see it and it looks like a ripple. Anyone have any clues on how to stop this or where I can start diagnosing the issue from? I believe it's my graphics card since all three monitors flicker.

All of them flicker at the same time? What do you have the refresh rates on each monitor set to?

Well it depends. Sometimes I will see all three flicker. Sometimes I will see just the middle one flicker. I see the refresh rate is 59herts for the middle one and 60 for the two side. The middle one is 2560 by 1440 and the right one is 1920 by 1080and the left one is 1080by 1920.

    Thanks for your help.

Sometimes the side ones flicker and the middle one is fine too.

Did the flickers just now start occurring recently or has it been going on for awhile now? Have you tried installing some older drivers from like 6 months ago to see if it helps get rid of the issue?

They started coming relatively recently, possibly in the last couple nvidia driver updates, and also, I installed nvidia inspector in order to use a multi display power saver.  I'm not sure but it's somewhat recent, last couple of months. At first I thought it was the power saver, and that the minor tearing/flicker was a product of that toggle being on, but then I turned it off and shut down the program and the flicker/tear was there.

Maybe I will try that if you don't have any other suggestions.

Actually I take that back. The monitors are still occasionally flickering. It's not too bad...it's more like a quick tear.

It could also be a defect cable or improperly seated cable(s) so reseat all of the cables.

No. Not sure what to do next. It still happens occasionally when doing things as simple as reading stuff on a browser. It's a quick millisecond flicker/tear that ripples through the monitors.

Does this involve opening the computer and unplugging all the cables and re plugging them in?

Nope. RJ is talking about the display cables that run to your monitors.

My single titan and single monitor does this also.
The gpu is set so low, that it cant handle my 2560x1440 gsync monitor (i have set it as ULMB 120 hz as that seems to do it the least).
Setting the gpu to K-boost has helped a lot, but it still does it every once in a while still, so not a perfect fix, but ten times better than every scroll of every website I visited.
You might give that a try, but I have to have the fan on 100% all the time when running kboost.

I'm not sure I want to boost it yet. I can live with it as it happens quite infrequently, maybe once in a great while.I just was thinking maybe I could fix it because occasionally it can be a little annoying.

I resealed the cables though, so going to see how that works today.

Next steps would be to try some new cables, test with another gpu, test your gpu in another system.

start with basic problem points such as video cables themselves, then next I would check monitor power cable last thing I would resort to is check video card to make sure it is seated correctly in PCIE slot

If all that checks out, monitor could be defective which means RMA time =)
