My geforce TI idles at 62 degrees. I posted about this once before but didn't really get a sollution. I downloaded a fan curve and need it to be on almost always for the card to be in the low 30 degree range. But when I play games with the fan on it goes into the 40-50 range.

But with no fan on at all...it idles at 60 degrees.

I found this thread...https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/38sdxc/980ti_evga_sc_idle_temps_62c/

Does anyone have any other tips for this....could this be normal?

What are you gpu clocks running at while idling on the desktop with all apps closed?

    GPU CLOCK:885mhz
    Memory Clock:3505mhz.

GPU was 62 degree Celsius, idle with fan off.

Clocks should be around 138 to 253 mhz at idle with all apps closed. Try some of the solutions listed here... https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2640107

Even with three monitors? I'm trying all those things now to see if there's a difference.

Okay, so now my GPU Clock is 405 mhz and memory clock is 405mhz.

It seems to cool down way faster now. My GPU is room temp, around 62 when starting off and when the fan kicks in, within a few seconds, it drops to 32 celcius.  I have three big monitors hooked in so this might be normal then?

Yes. I had already turned the setting in the power category to adaptive, and I also turned off shadowplay, although that didn't seem to do anything.

But the multi monitor adapting setting in that nvidia control program lowered the GPU close to 400 from 800. Sweet thanks.
