U can always sell it on FB market.
All I need is the mobo to do a new build and then sell my old pc on parts but it will be nice if I can sell the entire pc on one shot.

I don't see much computer activity on facecrook  in my local area. Craigslist is just a scam haven now. I'm not close to any major markets unfortunately. I might just build one for my kids once ddr5 gets more plentiful.

I would suggest hardwareswap on reddit. EVGA forums also have a marketplace.

Curious if there has been any status updates as to when we might see more info on the EVGA z690's?

I recall (if my eyes didn't deceive me) that there was a z690 Classified being offered as a grand prize to the recent Gift of the Gamer promo, but it was taken off.  I can only assume that it was meant to be a grand prize, but I know logistics are still a nightmare at the ports and EVGA probably knew there would likely be additional delays.  Just feeling that it will be longer than mid Dec before we get an update here?

With the way evga had issues with the z590 dark supply, I wouldn't get your hopes up for z690 dark. By the time I got my notify for z590 dark and had the board for two weeks before it failed, then to get the replacement in hand, alder lake dropped two days later.

Well my MSI Z690 Carbon and G.Skill DDR5 6000 are out for delivery. I am going to build it later today and just be happy with it. I would not be surprised if EVGA is having supply issues with the new motherboard and release will be pushed back.

Kinda been radio silence on a release timeframe.  Jacob initially was saying late November, early December.  Then it shifted to early December.  And now it's been kinda quiet.  Last I heard anything was a picture of Biso Biso benching on a naked Z690 Dark in mid-to-late November.  They're out there, just maybe production/supply issues.

Really hoping to pick up one of the classified boards (as many others are). Is there any way into the Elite membership from older purchases? I have 2 1000g2 PSUs and z370 classified k purchased new but years ago now

You can watch the Twitch stream:
Watch EVGA Livestreams and spend 5,000 E-Points to Unlock an ELITE Membership.
Earn E-Points by watching Livestreams on EVGA's Twitch Channel while logged in to your Twitch account.

https://www.evga.com/member/elite/

Used to be you could also spam the forums, but looks like they finally removed that option.

Edit: And you should still be able to register those older components.  Z370 is on their list, and so are likely the PSUs.  You won't have warranty service necessarily, but you'll get registered.

I have signed up for every notification I can find for DDR5 memory. I had 2 notifications. Both times I did not get on the site in time to buy any DDR5. I believe we will not be able to buy any DDR5 for months. All the companies that build computers will need vast amounts. The Bot/Scalpers will get most of the rest. This will be like Video Cards. I don't believe we will be able to purchase High End 64gig or 128gig kits for a very long time.
I gave up. I am build 2 DDR4 builds. There are no High End DDR4 Motherboards, but there are many nice Mid Level Boards. I think the Motherboard folks will have plenty of time to put out some High End DDR4 boards before most people can get decent DDR5 memory.
I will buy EVGA's Awesome Z690 board when I can get compatible High Speed DDR5. At least I have been buying multiple Power Supplies from EVGA for my new builds, (and a few spares!).

Today Newegg finally had ddr5 combos in their shuffle.  I have bought three combos over the weeks and finally got a combo I am happy with.  I have sent back my first combo with 4800mhz ddr5. I am planning to send the second one back with better 5600 cl36 but with a gigabyte z690 master motherboard.

So if you can stay next to a pc, get on nowingstock dot net and enable the alert at the top of the ddr5 list.  I set my volume high and when I hear it, I run and usually see choices available.

I have yet to be able to buy DDR5 alone.

I doubt the shortage of DDR5 will last. Its nothing like GPU's where one person might want lots of them. You only need so much memory. All it takes is for some stock to start showing up and the scammer marked should fade away.

I see you neighbors to the south of the border getting shuffle drops and Egg Canada showing wayyyy more products (GSkill) on there page (although all out of stock), so heres hoping in Canada they will be available sometime soon ;)

Painful to see these scalpers asking $2K for a 32G kit...really hope they choke on them :)

Any guesses on the release date? Curious how long I’ll be waiting

Shops in the UK say most of their LGA 1700 socket motherboards are expected to be in stock for November 4th. Maybe EVGA will be similar with their release dates

Sadly, I wouldn't expect it until like February... One thing I noticed since getting my z390 dark, is that EVGA releases their boards well after the competition. So some time before the 13th gens are out 😝

I managed to snag some DDR G.Skill and I got sucked in by Buildzoid's Apex unboxing.  I found a decent deal on ebay on a BNIB Apex, so looks like I'll be going Asus for 12th gen.

idk i've bought 6 ddr5 kits so far. just sign up for some stock alert discords, enter the newegg shuffle, etc. as with the gpu hunt, you've gotta put in work for hard to find stuff. if you don't have the time, you can always pay over msrp on fleabay. GL

from what i've seen, z690 apex is kind of a mess if you're planning to oc ram. if you don't care about that, enjoy! i have the apex here and i'm not planning to do anything with my 12th gen builds until January earliest, so just trying to decide if i'll swap for tachyon until kingpin shows up. i'm in no rush. both z590 and x570 dark are fantastic xoc boards.

I do like playing around with RAM OC.  Hopefully just issues early in Z690 and will improve with BIOS updates.  If not, will see how annoying it is and maybe by then the Dark will be out.  I didn't consider Gigabyte, been a while since I've run one of their boards, seems like them seem to have more issues than the rest.   That and I'm still not on board with the angry eagle logo.

I have my middle of the road MSI Z690 Carbon up and running with G.Skill 6000 cl40 and I9-12900K air cooled. Yet to put it under any stress, just cleaning up the wiring and wishing I had gone with a Lan Li 011 instead of my Fractal Torrent. It moves a ton of air, but kind of wish I had an easy option to get an aio cpu cooler. Both are awesome for feeding a ton of air to the GPU.

This is why I cannot pull the trigger on a Fractal Torrent. I cannot get past the high rear mounted PSU. I feel this case caters more to those who want an air cooled system as opposed to custom cooled, or even AIO cooled with the limited mounting orientation.

I should have bought the o11-d xl last week when Newegg was selling them for $229 shipped, but decided to wait and to see what comes out in 2022. O11 is so played out imo but there is really nothing else that comes close. Perhaps a Caselabs SMA8, but good luck finding one in good shape for less than $300 bucks.

I have been a all air cooled guy forever. I originally had an I7-12700K but then sent it back and got an I9. I was planning on the MSI MEG Unify with no RGB but now am leaning more toward a little bling.   I can re-purpose the Torrent if I do go with a different case so it won't be a total loss for me. It will do for now and I'll just keep an eye out on any new deals that pop up.

I9-12900K - MSI Z690 Carbon - EVGA RTX 3080 TI - G Skill 6000 40 40 - Samsung 980 Pro 2TB - Fractal Torrent.

Perhaps a Caselabs SMA8, but good luck finding one in good shape for less than $300 bucks.

300 bucks would be a steal, those cases are going for like 800-1000.
