Thought I would ask the forum, as I couldn't find it in the manual; but I finished my first z690 (classified) this weekend...have completed older evga motherboards in the past.  What I'm trying to verify is if the m.2_2 is usable if I have m.2_1 installed and the gpu in the top slot?  I have seen other manufacturer's boards with m.2 restrictions/clauses before.  This slot did not register a m.2 (3 different brands, all new in the box) in disk manager or in bios.  m.2_3 works and obviously m.2_1 has the OS on it.  I am hoping I overlooked something versus having a dead slot
Thanks everyone

all M.2 slots work with PCIe1 and PCIe2 slots populated.

M.2-Slot 3 will share lanes with your x4 PCIe slot though. Called out on page 17:

13.  PCIe Slot x4*
PCIe x4 is a smaller form-factor PCIe card slot. These can be used for low bandwidth products, such as a PCIe SSD card, capture card, audio card, etc. This slot is limited to a maximum of x4 Gen3 CPU lanes, as it shares bandwidth with the third M.2 Key-M (PM3). This slot is primarily recommended for capture cards, audio cards, etc.
