Calling the Customer Support line didn't help. All I got was a well-rehearsed reply from a slow-spoken gentleman telling me that my order is in queue for review which could take 24-72 hours.

Yeah, curious why this is as well I only have 16 GB. I can upgrade to a max of 32 GB.

It's a typo. The manual says 2GB required, 4GB recommended. Nice one Nvidia. I bet there are some folks rebuilding their whole systems on Newegg right now.

I thought it absurd when I read that line. It didn't make any logical sense.

Same here!  Shipped, will be here tomorrow.  BoA actually called about an hour ago due to all the recent high profile CC fraud, but that didn't slow down my order!  Gonna probably get around to playing FC4 and AC: Unity now.  I put them on hold because a single 980 wasn't quite enough and I had planned to get either a 2nd 980 once BigMaxwell launched, or upgrade to BigMaxwell.  Obviously went with BigM instead, looking forward to it! :D

I wonder if EVGA Titan X will be available on amazon anytime soon? That's where I prefer to buy so I'm just holding out for now.

I also had that "verification" crap. Called the support line and the woman offered to contact the accounting department to see if they could verify the order. My issue, I believe, was that my billing/shipping were different addresses. A few minutes later she confirmed they verified it, and I had my confirmation email. Even got a shipping notification tonight. Kind of wish I would have paid the extra $15 or whatever for overnight shipping instead of 2-day, but oh well.

I finnnaly got varefied like two and a half hours ago but no shipping info yet! And I paid for over night shipping!! What gives!?

Anyone know when newegg will be posting their inventory for the Titan X?

Rumors from other forums are saying tomorrow for other vendors.  I ordered direct, but would of preferred to order via Evga, but Rob said he could not say when they would have them so I decided to go direct.  If it turns out Evga will have them tomorrow, I think Rob and the powers that be at Evga should of at least said something because they lost a lot of sales.  I know of 4 other people that all ordered 2 each from Nvidia and all would of preferred to order through Evga but since they would not say when they would have them many went direct.
 
 

Anyone concerned about the temps? Most reviews showed it hitting around 85c with the fan on auto. I am hesitant to get one now. If the threshold is 91c, isn't that a bit too close for comfort? I was really hoping Nvidia would break the Titan cycle and let the board partners create custom cooling solutions.
