Yeah, it only has 1/32 DP Floating point which comes out to ~200 GFlop/s . This seems to be the trend nowadays with new cards unfortunately.

I'm surprised it's still $999 though without proper DP performance. Even the original Titan is much faster at DP.

I can see this card dropping to like $649 or w/e 390X is priced at when it comes out and nVidia releasing a new Titan Y or Titan X-DP with proper DP performance lol

I am very interested in seeing the benchmarks but i too will wait for the 390x and the 980Ti.

My 780ti is nice and all but i need more Vram. I am even thinking of going to 4k resolution soon so i need something much better.

Also waiting for the new Seiki 32inch 4k monitors. I want a nice new videocard and 4k monitor that isnt too expensive! Will the Titan X be the answer? 980ti? 390x? only time will tell.

Coolers can be changed, the PCB can NOT be changed. EVGA released an ACX edition last time too. They will have SC versions, but no custom PCB. They may even have a hydrocopper version, but only time will tell for that.

So I guess this means that EVGA won't be releasing their versions of the TITAN X before GTA V is released on the PC.  Alas, my dreams are crushed.

those benches are interesting. The R9 295x2 beats it in quite a few (almost all) Even when overclocked the 295x2 keeps the pace. At $300 less impressive. I think the 390x will give the Titan X a swift kick until nvidia answers with the 980 Ti.

2gpus vs 1. 8% higher with double the parts. The x keeps pace to a dual gpu, which is quite impressive. The price is still heavy compared to 2 gpus, until you get Jan game that doesn't utilize crossfire properly, then it will go down to garbage.

For just gaming, it's not really of any concern as games never use DP. But, DP is useful for GPGPU and situations where extremely accurate calculations are needed.
