Got my 6696 last week so I just sat here hitting refresh. Got an email at 15:02 sold out 15:10. WOW!

I just got back and.... I  missed it! That was what I wanted... and it's gone! :-(

don't feel bad... I did too .. I guess I'm going with a white LED build and probably won't OC it.. Save like $20 I suppose

Hey everyone, I grabbed my 1080 ti FTW3 (6696) yesterday ... Auto refresh". 

Haha exactly what I've been doing, but didn't want to tip off the competition. Might as well blow my whole plan out of the water by noting that the cards will sell out in literal minutes, making the email notifications completely worthless.
 
Case in point, when I first started "The Wait", I got a card in my basket, went to check out and just wanted to double check one thing. No more that 15 seconds later I returned to the checkout to see it had been removed due to no stock.
Two days ago I was refreshing @ 5 minute intervals and there were cards that were in stock that I didn't see at all.
Yesterday I refreshed at 2 minute intervals and there was at least one that was only available between one refresh.
 
Few more tips:
- Note the exact model numbers of your top 3 choices and ignore everything else. You have 30 seconds to buy, so do all your comparing right now.
- Once you know what you want and what you'll settle for, easiest thing to do is go to the page with all the 10 Series cards, click In Stock, and sort by Price Highest to Lowest. (You can't use the Compare page, since there's no stock/purchase indicator.)
 
(As I was typing the 6696 popped up - timing it now... Wow... actually lasting a bit today... ~9 minutes for the 6696 (1080ti) and 6366 (1060). Not as bad as yesterday, but yeah, still <10 minutes.)

what i did was i went to the products page clicked on the one i wanted and keep't refreshing the page ever 2 seconds with F5, when it came available i put it right in my cart had my chrome autofill on with my payment method filled out shipping billing including my CC info, took me 10 seconds to check out and have shipped out
