Passed up the SC2/FTW3 Hybrids the entire day just waiting for a single 1080 FTW Hybrid to restock.
 
B&H literally got "3" per their rep.  Newegg doesn't even list them anymore.  And now not even one here.
 
Resorted to a FTW2 at the last second to at least have something.  Never thought I'd see the day I'd bought FTW3's for less than this 1080 is going to be after adding a Hybrid cooler.
 
Any insight if there's going to be any 6288-KR's at all tomorrow Jacob?
 
Edit:  Just realized all of the 1070/1080 Hybrid GPU Cooling kits have been removed from the site completely.  Is there literally no possible way to get to a Hybrid 1080 FTW at this point?

I mean they go up every day. You just have to buy within 5 minutes of seeing the email. My friend just bought a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 TI SC Hydro Copper GAMING, 11G-P4-6399-KR and a 1200w p2 platinum two days ago at 11:08pm EST. I just saw another 1080 come and go today. If you really want one right now, you have to be on top of notifications and have your emails sent to your phone.

I got the emails and refreshed watching each sell out one by one (SC2 Hybrid, FTW3 Hybrid, etc), just like I did with Newegg and B&H all afternoon.
 
Guess it's time to just step back up to the Ti at this point.

Doubt they'd be weeping. They're drastically increasing the value for their cards, getting daily views to their website, and gaining more popularity. I'm sure they have scale up planned and are waiting for the hype to build even more before dropping everything.

Same at bestbuy and microcenter.. though microcenter ones are in stock.

They don't even need to do that. There's a couple of Amazon resellers with Amazon fulfillment who will deplete Amazon's supply and re-list almost the exact quantity within 48hrs. That means those cards aren't even changing hands and not sure if they even change shelves in the warehouse.

another part of the issue folks have been ignoring is that the "current node" production lines at TSMC and GF (and probably Samsung as well) have been running flat out for as long as they've been up.
There isn't spare CAPACITY at the foundry level to handle making enough GPU chips (which are HUGE) to handle sudden demand spikes, or to handle the demand at ALL when it grows enough.
 
 It was VERY noticed when AMD did it's last "foundry contract adjustment" with GF that they were willing to pay to use capacity OUTSIDE OF GF at a rather steep price "if needed".
 
 This issue has been affecting miners for almost 2 years, as the demand for ASIC miners to mine what few algorithms/coins that CAN be mined by ASIC has greatly exceeded the available chipmaking supply those manufacturers have access to for most of those algorithms.
