Hopefully.  Monday should be a big day and have a lot go back in stock for atleast a short amount of time.  Don't know if any will be for non-elite members though

I am so ready for some good video cards to come in stock.  I briefly considered craigslist/eBay for one.  Now that my tax returns are ready I am anxious to buy!

Glad to know a general time-frame.  I'm not the type to sit and hit refresh though.  I take the gamble that I'll see the email notification in time.

Good luck with that. I don't even get e-mail notifications from EVGA for these postings. I've hit auto-notify every week and stock comes and goes with no notification. Even still, you likely won't get there in time with email.

Can confirm stock is sold out within a minute usually, the auto-notifications WILL NOT get you to the store in time. I tried for a little over 2 weeks to get one watching and refreshing this thread & even then it took two weeks....

No.  It seemed like it might go that way but it's been (for now) still general availability.  Perhaps a few more go to elite members, who knows.

The only cards i saw were some MSI and EVGA +$1000 cards. The only cards i see show up for seconds are the higher end production chips that are sold as over clocked.

I read online that micro center is going to be selling combo deals similar to the diy configurator on here. Supposed to help cards go to gamers instead of Richard miners

I saw microcenter do some CPU+MOBO deals, but nothing in terms of GPUs.  EVGA has by far done the best of any company to try and help gamers.

I thought new stock is for elite members only.

I thought so too but hopefully not.  I'm just trying to get a gpu for my new pc build and I don't have an elite mbrshp.  It is a way to keep miners from getting the cards but it also keeps evga from acquiring new customers such as myself.

95% of the demand are for the miners, it's his fault

Miners are not 95% of the demand or even close.
I seriously doubt miners have been 30% of the demand most months out of the last year - and DEFINITELY not in December when the cards ran out.
I strongly doubt that miners have ever been 30% or even 20% of the demand for NVidia cards ever, though I would not be shocked if they were 20% or more of the demand for AMD cards some months out of the last year.

AMD and NVidia combined shipped AT LEAST 10 million GPUs each quarter last year - the total was close to 50 million for the entire year.
Miners accounted for AT MOST 10 million GPUs sold ALL OF LAST YEAR, based on "total network hashrate" added to all cryptocoins that can use GPUs - my ACTUAL estimate is closer to 5 million, but it presumes miners bought mostly the higher hashrate cards for each coin.

GAMER DEMAND is the bulk of the current shortage, NOT miner demand - the numbers just don't add up for any other HONEST conclusion.

Note that AMD had a heck of a year with Ryzen - which is NOT a high demand CPU for mining rigs - SOME SORT of video had to go in all those Ryzen-based machines since NONE OF THEM have on-chip GPUs that have been sold to date.

The problem still lies at the feet of miners.  I don't care if they took a smaller portion then actual gamers when it comes to inventory.  They soaked up the remaining inventory that companies produce based on their average annual sales for their customer base, thus our total lack of product and price gouging from retailers as a result.  There are, according to your math, 10 million units not making it to their intended consumers.  Thus, the shortage.

I feel like a lot of it is also third party resellers buying them and then trying to resell on amazon or ebay for huge markups.

After ebay takes their 10%, and PayPal takes their 3%, not worth messing with imo. Might be some profit in the 1070's. If you source amd cards at msrp, you could make a killing.
Ending up with $1,020 in my ftw3 hybrid 1080ti going the diy route. They are listed to 1100 to 1200 on ebay so would be lucky to get my money back and will have a junk case with a 1000w gold psu for a future build.

I was just going to buy a DIY kit even though I already have my own build minus the gpu.  But now even the gpus for the DIY configurator are out of stock.
