Production is the true test of code.
Everyone tests their code in production whether they mean to or not. Then bad devs get nasty when you send them bugs.

Need some Asteroid tasks otherwise this is a bust!!!!!!!!
Will go to some other projects if no tasks before I head to bed, 3hrs and counting....

I would look at your GPU Usage% and TDP% in GPUShark.
I tested both and mine ran high so I kept it at one task per GPU.
I have not tested in a while but if I remember it took 2.5 to 3 Times longer with 2 Tasks than running 1 Task.

Yeah - so that is not an option - too long - it has to be even or less. I am getting them done in 23 mins with your app_config

Short answer is yes - you will get much further running GPUs - and I am getting a steady diet of work units ATM - good question though.

From what I can tell, I can do 6 tasks with my hexcore E5-1650(3970k) as fast or faster than my GTX1080 can do 6 tasks.
The GTX980Ti and Titan-Xm are not a whole lot slower than the 1080, but they are slower.
My CPUs, are rated at 115W - 130W the GPUs are 250w.
I am shutting down the GPUs and going to fire up a couple duel socket servers, 8 cores each CPU  16/32
Save electric and all the heat the GPUs are throwing off.
The points are the same per task, GPU or CPU.
 
I also noticed my CPU tasks are being validated, my GPU tasks are all waiting to be validated??? Go figure.

Well it looks like we can make 6th and 8 points if we try so I'm moving back to Asteroids. If wu's dry up before the finish line I'll be p.. off.
