I'm using
verbose=1
kernels_per_reduction=52
threads=9
lut_size=18
sieve_size=30
cache_sieve=1
sleep=1
cpu_reduce=0
right now and getting about 4 minutes per task on 1080Ti.
I simply could not get my intel gpu to compete any units.

 My six (EVGA of course) 1080s each run one task in 380 seconds with the config mod (founder editions with no overclock, most 1080s are faster). How long for two, Bill? If 760 seconds or less, cool, no changes needed.

TAAT does have one user with a 1080Ti who has established two tasks are better, with config mod included, but far and wide all I have seen is advice to run only one instance.

( I hope I'm not coming across as arrogant or condescending or any such thing, I'm basically an idiot with expensive hobbies, and I'm just trying to help others get every ounce of performance for their hard earned electricity dollars. )

Again, congrats to all on retaking 3rd place!

Nope, your help is always welcome here. Great info, no worries.

100% agree. I just posted it on TAAT

4 minutes is excellent.

Interesting delay on a rig or 2...........
Got awfully quiet in the room and slightly cooler, they were on/at a (when I figured out what was happening) 31 minute deferred communication delay. I had 9 completed tasks sitting and no new to crunch, hit update and all is well so far I hope. Pretty safe on your 3rd place in the Sprint right now though- +39 million lead from what I glanced at.

With that said, I believe you guys got this. I'll be returning back to the abyss of Folding, and fixing the cooling flaws I have found with my rig running full bore. Thanks to Yodap for the PW and 10 couple S's and a few Es Tony for the config settings.

Yeah, saw an odd maintenance window on the project side.
These do accumulate points quite rapidly.

That was a HUGE difference on my 970 SSC. 2400-3000 seconds down to about 800 seconds per task.  Just wish I would have seen it earlier in the challenge.
Does make the computer lag quite a bit, but if you're not using at the time, whatever.

We'll be prepared for next time. I don't plan on removing these files from my computer. I had tried adding more numbers but 1 change drove my time up to 12 minutes. Most units completed between 225 to 240 seconds after the change.

Note - apparently newer Intel drivers won't work on collatz per their forum.

Calling all Collatz crunchers.

Just got it started - should help out a bit.
rs

Well it took 76 hours for CPU tasks to complete on my server so none made it in time.
No have to wait another 49 hours before the next set completes so no cannot run VGTU @ home till then.
Sucks doing this from a remote location.
At lest we hit at #3 for Collatz

That's okay, there is some kind of problem at VGTU. I have over 800 tasks pending validation. Zero validated.

Once I hit 17,300 validating I quit too. Down to 'only' 9800 validating now though, some 24 hours later.

I will give Yafu a shot. I got fired up and started running WCG after Bcavnaugh's post. I am doing some folding for a few days then back to MOO - unless you hit me up with other instructions Steve! Good work on MOO - thanks Yodap and Bcavnaugh and Steve - hope I did not leave anyone out. We are moving the team up the ladder with brute force!

Yeah I want 1st place in Moo by the end of the race and I want it to cool down a little, but my friend Mick once told me "you can't always get what you want"

I do like their site, nice and easy on the eyes (unlike this one) and it never bogs down. Everybody can have a bad day I guess.
