Actual availability when you can buy it: 2021 :)

Anyone wanna guess who the manufacturer is?  Looks Swiftech-y, cause Bykski, EK, Aquacomputer, Watercool, Alphacool all use jetplate cooling designs not left-to-right that this block (same as the 2080 Ti) uses.

The interrupted fin design reminds me of the Swiftech Apogee SKF:

Can we get confirmation on the ability to buy a stand alone block? Already have the 3090 FTW3 Ultra and would like to place a HC block on it.

If it was Swiftech then why not label it? EVGA has used Swiftech blocks across many generations and when they did the blocks always had the Swiftech logo. Why hide it now? My assumption was it's not a major vendor at all.

Yeah, I can't find any waterblock OEM that uses that exact style of block and terminal so it's plausible it's a random Chinese manufacturer or maybe it is Bykski just with custom specs and an older cooling engine.

More information should come out before the release but it's always good if you are worried to not be the first to jump and to read a few reviews. That said EVGA has had a good history I feel with the hydro copper line.

Honestly I would love to have a ftw3 3090 hc.... that red trim piece tho...... hopefully it’s removable. I know that’s being picky, but from what I can only assume is a 2000 dollar card.... I mean yikes. Performance is king tho so whatevs XD

Same, would love to hear more info about whether there would be a separate HC block or not. Last I saw on twitter it was "TBD", and wording suggested that was whether it was going to exist or not, rather than referring to a time frame, which worries me.

EDIT: Seeing the Hybrid update thread listing "Standalone kit available" worries me even more...

Is that vinyl mesh looking material removable (along with the red trim )? Usually a big fan of the HydroCopper blocks but that mesh covering the acrylic looks too busy.

Does the block have 6 ports like the 2080ti blocks or 4? Can't see any pictured on top. Also will this block be subject to the same red accent as the dreaded FTW coolers or will there be a black option? Stand alone availability? What about 3090 vram back plate cooling with this block?

When is auto-notify happening? I need to replace two perfectly functioning 980HCs. No trade up on those. 3080HC + 5120x1440 = extremely happy me. The 980s rock about 45fps, but I want 60+. Oh, and also, thank you for the opportunity to order before the bots. Block the Bot!

Some updates on the HC models as below. Will continue to update as more info is available:
    • Full cover block with G 1/4 fittings
    • Available in XC3 and FTW3
    • Latest availability update = Mid/late November

    1. Does this apply for the 3090 as well as the 3080?
    2. Will you be selling stand-alone HC water blocks soon after, or more likely many months further down the line?
    3. and finally...

If my ftw number comes up before this gets released, I won't be able to resist. I may wait for a evga kit instead of other water blocks since I need to wait for black friday to get the loop stuff.
