Thanks for the updated time window. Like someone else already said, sure wish EVGA would get these ready sooner. I wanted to buy (2) 1080 Ti HCs back in the day but got so tired of waiting on them I bought a couple FE models and just put EK blocks on them myself.
I'm ready right now to pull the trigger on one of these Ampere cards.

For those questioning about the Hydro Coppers and if history is any indication, they will be selling both Hydro Copper GPUs and Hydro Copper waterblocks separately for purchase. @EVGAJacob, if this is true for this 3000 Series, please state this in your original statement as you have indicated the same for the Hybrids.

Nah it's just the RGB lit up like a Christmas tree in that picture to show what it can do, I think it would look much better with more subtle use of the RGB lighting ...unless you like having a full-on RGB party going on in your case.

Is the FTW3 kit interchangeable between the 3080 and the 3090? Or are they different skus?
I might step up to a 3090 FTW3 and it would be nice to use the kit on the 3080 while i wait.

Release of the HC card is about 2 months away, and likely hard to get hold of at first. I'm going with the air-cooled 3090 FTW3 Ultra (hopefully I'll have one in the next week or two with the notification/reservation system) with the idea of switching to water cooled once a water block is available for it, whether it be an EVGA HC block or something from EK, assuming they make one.

Yeah, it's just a random design with no actual.... design goal in mind. It's plexi, and yet one can't really see inside the card for example. Have to see what a real one looks like I guess. Regardless it's not a design I'd care to show off. I'd rather go back to solid acetal black personally.
 Have water, will cool.

Nope. Still nothing about the Hydro Copper kit. Like I mentioned before, on the Hybrid kit update thread there's an extra point stating that a Standalone kit is available. This isn't stated on this thread. Whether there will be in the end, no one knows yet. But, as of now, it's either not yet confirmed, or there aren't any plans for a standalone block right now.

If you mod it yourself, sure. But that's probably too much weight for a single bracket, you'd need to brace the other end of the card.

Yes it's the HC GPU - it would be called a kit otherwise, although Jacob said both should be available around the same time. Nobody can set up autonotify for it until EVGA put it on the website, which according to Jacob is expected mid/late November (they rarely put it up until they are ready to go). I'm on the notify list for the FTW3 Ultra air cooled card, and plan to convert it to water when a HC kit comes out, or when EK have a compatible cooler.

The Hydro Copper kits usually use the standard G1/4" fittings, so should not be an issue hooking in to an existing loop.

Not sure about the Hybrid cards - I did see someone mention late October / early November, otherwise I'd imagine about the same time as the Hydro Copper cards & kits (mid/late November)...
