ssj12I scored a 3060 XC in NewEgg's Shuffle so I pulled my notify off here. I just hope that Step-Up is still a thing. I want to hopefully step-up to a 3080 one day. hah Lucky you! I wasn't so lucky(I applied for 3 cards with $330 price tag), so I will buy from EVGA for $390... Nike_7688but honestly the one thing I do not like about EVGA's 30 series cards this time is all the RGB lighting. I know some people like it and I can turn it off (which...I would...if I had one), but holy crap some of the RGB lighting has gone too far. It doesn't look "fancy" to me at all lol. Everyone know that RGB lighting adds +10% to FPS!  In case with glass window you have to have some lighting inside, otherwise it looks dark and no visible components inside.

I don't. I entertained the idea that maybe there's the initial wave of sorry! that goes out, usually within the first 5-10 minutes. Then perhaps there's a maybe you got selected, but based on purchases by people selected earlier, they no longer have stock. Then another sorry! follows. That's probably too elaborate though. More likely, whatever system manages their mailings is probably just backlogged or otherwise experiencing hiccups.

Some days ago I joined the queues for every single one of the 30series GPUs from my house (on my laptop, trying to build a desktop atm) but didnt really hope for much cause I came late.
Today I was in a friends place with same laptop at release time and managed to enter the queue for both 3060s in the first 10 mins.
When I checked My Notifies right after that, I could see the 2 3060s that I just singed for.. but not the older ones that I signed from my house. Didnt really cared at that moment cause I had no hope for the rest of 30xxs anyway.
Now came back to my place, in My Notifies I can see the old queues again... but not the 2 that I joined from my friends place 3 hours ago...so I guess it has to do with the IPs...
The question is...Am I still in queue although I can't see the 3060s in My notifies right now?
I got the email for both of them...
"This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 12G-P5-3655-KR.
You will be sent a notification email once this product becomes available."

You will be sent a notification email once this product becomes available."
This sounds like the common issue of members outside of the US using the US website. If you are in the EU, use the EU website to view your notifications. The two lists do not link together.

Well, another day, a lot more disappointment, but a bright spot.
I was ready at 9 am. BestBuy sold out quicker than I could click on the yellow buttons. I couldn't get on EVGA's site until 9:30 because it kept crashing on me. I signed up for the two 3060's but God knows when I'll get one of those. It did not look like Newegg or B&H had any available for sale on their sites.
There were 6 3060s and a very expensive 3070 on the Newegg shuffle. I put in requests for all of them and for a 5900X CPU. I didn't get any of the GPUs, but I DID get the 5900X. I got a 5800X a couple of weeks ago but really wanted the 5900X, so I'll return the unopened 5800X to Newegg as soon as I get a tracking number on the 5900X (which is estimated to come in a week).
Interestingly, the 5800X is returnable, but the 5900X is returnable only if defective--which is fine since the 5900X is NOT going to leave my hot little hands. So be prepared that things you buy on the Shuffle may not be returnable.

Made an order. Decided to add singnature. At final page decided to remove signature and removed tick mark. Placed order. By some reason signature is there and they charged for it 4 bucks.

Congrats on the 5900x. That is also what I am looking for from New Egg too. I got a 5800x on it's way from Amazon, but I'm not sure which one I want to run. I'd rather have the 5900x, but at this rate I might as well just stand pat with the 5800x. Atleast I got the 5800x with free shipping. I already have a 5600x that I plan on selling once I get the new CPU in.

Which of the 3000 series is a worthy upgrade from a 1080ti? Is the 3060ti gonna be a little bump up and the 3070 worth the effort? Or realistically only the 3080?

My recollection from prior discourse in this thread is that EVGA has a policy of requiring signature for purchases over $XXX shipped via UPS, so I don't think you would have avoided it either way.

My recollection from prior discourse in this thread is that EVGA has a policy of requiring signature for purchases over $XXX shipped via UPS, so I don't think you would have avoided it either way.
Also if you happen to pay with PayPal, they always require a signature.

At this point I am somewhere between disgusted and distraught about the whole gpu situation. Today I had a work computer and a personal computer plus a cell phone waiting to get into the evga queue, page wouldn't load until 9:21 and I got signed up within 40 seconds of the page loading, yet I see people with times of 9:01. Best buy let me see yellow button for over an hour but not get it out in cart. Amazon let me add to cart and be in checkout confirming payment before it was gone. I built a 10900kf (the one with out onboard video) in October. My queue place on every card is minutes away but things are not moving forward.
Either poor luck or lack of a buying bot, this is actually feeling impossible now.

If you are feeling disgusted and distraught, don't find CNBC's Mad Money episode today as Cramer interviewed Jensen...it was a tough watch for me, but I understand their focus is on the financial performance of the stock/company and not their consumers. No, I wasn't surprised. But it was visible in stark relief.

Missed out on th BB drops today, tried but no luck. Hope someone here was more fortunate. On a positive note, I did get my 5800x straight from amd today though. I only signed up for the 3895 on October 7th. Looks like it will be a year, or more after launch before I get that card. Good luck everybody!

For those of you who have purchased EVGA hardware from the EVGA website, perhaps you can help me with a question if you have a moment please. I was looking at an item that mentioned "Free Shipping" but when I added it to the cart and got to the "select shipping" stage, the choices were 25 and 30 dollar range, nothing about "free shipping" so I bailed. Anyone know why that might be? Perhaps it gets adjusted after you pay or something?

As expected, the EVGA site was hammered for about thirty minutes this morning as EVGA dropped the 3060s (XC3 Gaming and XC3 Gaming Black). Both newly established queues received drops; some folks were lucky enough to declare their watch over and begin their new wait for the UPS truck at their curb. Others, were not so lucky. And Jensen’s appearance on CNBC’s Mad Money this afternoon to crow about profits and high demand did little to quiet the ever-increasing frustration gamers around the continent. With the EVGA queue system, EVGA continues to avoid most of the criticism, but any additional transparency originating out of Orange County, California, regarding drop size, arrival of delayed Hydro Coppers, apparent inability to ship certain (usually lower tier/smaller profit margin) models would be greatly appreciated by those of us who have been waiting (mostly) patiently in line for over five months. That's fair. For me, its less about the gpu...and more a question (which admittedly I haven't fully answered for myself) about how I feel about utilizing cards and electricity in this way. I am -- admittedly -- a bit of a novice when it comes to Crypto, and I still learning....
Giving mining a try, as we have solar it should cover all the power draw.
Otherwise I would not try it.
Selling the house in the fall so the credits would go to waste.
But until I can get a 3080 it will not be that much, hoping enough to cover the price increase from base cost to Now cost.
Good luck all, was hoping to get one before my birthday, last of March, but that does not seem likely at this point.

Had to deliver a vehicle this morning so had him come in 2 hours before launch. This guy wanted me to cover EVERYTHING. He made me show him what every component in the engine was for. It's a truck, dude. Press down on the gas and it goes vroom.
Sounds like I wouldn't have got onto the site any sooner anyway, though.

Missed out on th BB drops today, tried but no luck. Hope someone here was more fortunate. On a positive note, I did get my 5800x straight from amd today though. I only signed up for the 3895 on October 7th. Looks like it will be a year, or more after launch before I get that card. Good luck everybody!
Half grats then :) Tried for a 3080 during the 3060 feeding today, but missed it.

Thanks. That isn't even the half of it. I missed editing two queues before I posted it and had to scramble to avoid folks yelling at me about not updating those queues despite clear reporting. For my job, I often have to work late into the evening. The last two nights I had calls that started at 1 am (due to international time zones and the need to get folks from multiple continents on the same call, sometimes Pacific Time gets the short end of the stick...it generally works out relatively evenly for who has to stay up or wake up early). And for the summaries, I am brute forcing this having elected early on not to build out any automation to assist me (as I never expected in my WILDEST nightmares that we would be watching on our wall for five plus months (with no end in sight for some queues))...so for each report, I edit my control document and record (one), the thread summary for our beloved thread (two), and then a google doc (link in my signature block) for those that are not members of the EVGA forums (this was a late edition but I was getting discord and reddit inquiries so the google doc actually reduces the bandwidth requirements there) (three). All in, on some days, I just don't have it. Today was one of those days. Thanks again for the nit.
