Was delayed a bit, looking like may have some next week.

Jacob's reply to someone asking about 3080 FTW Hybrids and if they were delayed or something. The wording makes it seem like even he's not 100% sure they will come next week either. Pretty much the nail in the coffin at this point to all people waiting for 3080 hybrids.

I'm so glad you posted this, as I was planning on asking about this anyway. So, if I am reading correctly, I should setup my K|NGP|N radiator as exhaust to the outside of the case, correct? I'm going to install it along with a CPU AIO in a Lian Li O11D XL case, so I was thinking of rear/bottom intake, with both radiators (GPU-side, CPU-top) as exhaust. Am I doing it right?

As long as I have a high quality PSU (Corsair RM850x), I should be okay to run the K|INGP|N and the 3900X, yes?

Thanks!

I have the same case.  I have the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid at the top (exhaust) and the AIO on the side (intake).  I have three fans on the bottom (intake), one fan at the top and back (both for exhaust).  I am considering to make the AIO on the side as exhaust though

Would having the gpu rad at top side 2 fans exhaust, with bottom side fan intake along with 3 bottom intake, cpu 360 rad top exhaust and back single exhaust on same case?

I thought of putting the GPU rad on the top side but the tubing seemed to stretched to much.  As for have the bottom side fan as intake and have the GPU rad at the top side as exhaust, I don't think it's a good idea because the bottom side fan will recirculate the hot air from the exhaust fans of the GPU rad fans.

Heat rises plus my gpu rad will be push-pull so its air will shoot straight out of the case side

Also I have the vertical gpu mount so tubing will go right where I want it

I've gotten so desperate for a GPU that I've signed up for 3090s as well. I'd take a Kingpin if my number came up. Unfortunately, I signed up this month :|

Well good news I managed to get a 3070 @ B&H yesterday, the bad news is it’s not an EVGA card,I will be removing my notification for the 3571KR so that might help someone get closer to getting their card, but I’m keeping the notification for the 3663KR hopefully I’ll get it before the price increase

Any time I hear anything about hybrids or the other liquid cool card being delayed.

I only imagine they failed during QC and they were just leaking all over the place.

On a side note now that I actually got a card. How do yall feel about the power supply for my computer. I've got a i7 7700k and Im going from a GTX980 to the 3070. I currently have a bronze seasonic 600w and am debating if that is enough or should I go ahead and order a larger newer psu? thoughts?

Thank You!

Spec sheet calls for a 650w. I would upgrade to at least a 750w.

Custom loop w/EK blocks - 12900k, 4090 FE, z690 Apex, G.Skill DDR5 6600 c32, EVGA 1000 P6, Lian Li O11D XL

Congratulations, you little lurker, you!  Thanks for reporting back to the thread and for your kind words.

How old is your PSU?  I would seriously consider bumping it up to an 850 if you can swing it.  Additionally, if you do upgrade your PSU, you need to switch out all of its cables too -- do not mix and match new PSU with old PSU cables -- bit no-no!

As an aside, the EVGA Associate’s Code provides a 10% discount off of EVGA power supplies [Unfortunately, the 850s are all currently out of stock.]

Best of luck!  Enjoy your new card!

That is what I was thinking. Ill probably jump to a 750/800w so I can jump to a 3080 if I wish when my time comes up in line. Do yall have any recommendations on Psus? companies to avoid etc. I saw all the EVGA supplies were out of stock :(

I am literally one minute away from a Kingpin- I was going to resort to using that until I could get a 3080 Hybrid. I'm still new to posting, but would love to talk more to anyonee interested at all in trading! I've been checking for updates every day for that dang 3888! But I'm at 7pm and think I won't be getting one for a few months, and really wanting to avoid eBay prices and such :(

I am partial to EVGA and Seasonic.  I tend to also trust the higher end PSUs made by Super-Flower (which are often rebranded by more consumer-facing brands).

I mean EVGA has that 10 year warranty plus I have had my 850w t2 for 3 year now and it's been stable and quiet

I'm really into SFF PCs now. I know EVGA does have some SFX PSUs but they only go up to 650w. I would jump all over an 850w+ SFX by EVGA

That is what I was thinking. Ill probably jump to a 750/800w so I can jump to a 3080 if I wish when my time comes up in line. Do yall have any recommendations on Psus? companies to avoid etc.

I am partial to EVGA and Seasonic.  I tend to also trust the higher end PSUs made by Super-Flower (which are often rebranded by more consumer-facing brands).

Been on Seasonic bandwagon but before. PC Power & Cooling had my business for PSUs.

For graphic cards? I hardly overclock so sometimes I just selected the cheapest best reviewed card. Not this time lol.
