Lucky b*****d.
Better yet, all of those folks getting cards!  Woot!

I'm sure it's a fraction of what some others are getting, but I appreciate it regardless, like I said yesterday, I look at that program as "Sharing the love", the purchaser is getting their fancy new card (or CPU cooler or whatever, I see some CPU cooler purchases on there in the $94-$107 range) at a discounted rate, and they're giving someone else some free bucks to spend on eVGA's site.  It'sa very nice!

Congrats on the cards!  To be on the safe side, I'd wait til Amazon has shipped it to you to remove yourself from the queues on here, if you're close to the bubble - that way if there's some delay with Amazon, you're not losing your spot for nothing.

And probably 95% of them went to bots & will end up in scalpers hands - unfortunately, Amazon has zero anti-bot measures in place as far as I understand it.

My wife (who has been an unwilling spectator to the madness of GPU hunting the past few months), said the exact same thing. I'm surprised she picked up that much considering she could care less.

Hybrids were a terrible idea, I hate them. So many more people who have been waiting diligently could've had actual cards in hand by now, but greed wins out again.

Greed? You have got to be joking or you are clueless.. It costs $110-120 for the hybrid cooler kit if you purchase separately. A fan XC3 costs $770 for the same boost clock. A FTW costs $810 for the same boost clock speed. They are essentially losing money....

Actually, I was wondering about the price differential between the air cooled and hybrid cards.  I doubt that EVGA is losing money on the hybrid cards.  My guess is that the radiator/fan and other components on the hybrid cards don't really cost that much more than the air coolers.  I mean, just look at how seriously beefy those air coolers are.  Again, I would guess that when you  subtract the cost of the air cooler, EVGA is still making at least a little extra for the hybrid cards...

Which ever you're sending back, you should consider selling it to someone at a reasonable price that will give it a good home instead - just my two cents.

My 3080 is already re-sold O_o I knew it would go fast, didn't think it would go THAT fast lol

The AIO cost compared to the heatsink they put on the FTW3 cards is not nothing, that's for sure.  I would assume their profit margin on the FTW3s & even XC3s is good enough that the Hybrid versions are still making money, just not quite as much.

All I am saying is if they never made hybrid cards and only the hybrid kits, they'd be making $100 more from all the people who actually want hybrid cards. Unless your case can't fit the radiator, you would be a fool not to get the hybrid - less heat is always better.

Repeat after me (because I've said this at least a dozen times now):

We are not upset we don't have cards.  We are upset that we've been in a queue EVGA has refused to meaningfully supply since launch, while they've since launched nine more SKUs across the 3090 and 3080 series, fulfilled many of those sign-ups, and still not addressed those of us from the September launch days for those SKUs or offered any sort of recourse for those who might be willing to pay more for a higher-tier SKU that's actually being made.  We want a formal response from EVGA regarding three specific queues (3881, 3883, and 3895) and some form of recourse (apology, queue merging, queue swapping, something) that might give us the possibility of obtaining cards in a reasonable time frame relative to the other queues.

Holding companies accountable for their actions is NOT entitlement, it's our obligation as the consumer in a capitalist economy.

You aren't one of the people my post was directed at, fwiw. For the most part I've seen productive, constructive posts from you. Others, I can't say the same about. I agree that EVGA could be more transparent, but there may be legitimate business reasons not to (ex: obligations to achieve a certain ASP for various cards; agreements with NVIDIA to avoid leaking supply details). Ultimately, all we can do is ask that these queuing systems improve over time. It's a new thing and they need time to refine it.

Agreed.  I'm just not sure that the AIO is $50 more expensive than the air coolers.  I would put the air coolers on these cards in the price category of something like a Noctua or beQuiet air CPU cooler (about $70-100) whereas I think the AIO are more in line with something more midrange like a Corsair, NZXT, etc around $100-130.  I could be off here.  Who knows unless you are actually on the inside at a company like EVGA.

I gotta admit: seeing those EVGA cards flying off of Amazon’s site, while our queue limps along, made me a little salty.

Congrats on the cards!  To be on the safe side, I'd wait til Amazon has shipped it to you to remove yourself from the queues on here, if you're close to the bubble - that way if there's some delay with Amazon, you're not losing your spot for nothing.

My wife (who has been an unwilling spectator to the madness of GPU hunting the past few months), said the exact same thing. I'm surprised she picked up that much considering she could care less.

I was able to land one as well but it was being buggy and took a lot of tries. Does yours having a shipping date? I just get “we’ll email you when we have an estimate”

No shipping date yet, it’s a Preorder. Amazon will ship. I landed a Thrustmaster a while back.

I hope so! I see other people are reporting they already have dates. So we’ll see. I did not get into the queue for the 3080 hybrid today till a couple hours after it dropped. So that’s not looking good either.

My order does not show a ship date either, but I assume it will ship when they have it available. At least I'm on the list :D

I suddenly realized that my SF600 PSU only has two 8-pins... I ordered a Cooler Master V850 SFX PSU but it's backordered until the end of the month!!!

I gotta admit: seeing those EVGA cards flying off of Amazon’s site, while our queue limps along, made me a little salty.

Understandable.  I'm sure it would irritate just about everyone - but like I said in a previous post, eVGA are contractually obligated to provide a number of GPUs to retailers, both actual storefront types & online sources like Newegg & Amazon, as far as I understand it, so they don't really have the choice of "oh we're not going to send Amazon any because they don't have any anti-bot measures".  I WISH they would do that, but I don't think they can without legal issues, which I'm sure they don't want or care to deal with right now, because it's not negatively effecting their profit margin.
As crapoli as that is from a customer perspective, it's business.
