How do you know when you are to expect an email? I signed up on the launch day for the 3070 and I know I am in the system for 2 cards but how will I know when to expect the email??

It is primarily our speculation -- based on our impressions from the size and frequency of drops of each particular card.  Because 3080s and 3090s have been out for a lot longer and certain cards have had regular drops, it is a bit easier to predict for those cards.  For 3070s, we've only really had a launch day drop and maybe one other drop...The 3070 XC3 Black is still within a few minutes of the launch time of 6 am on 10/29.  The 3070 FTW3 Ultra had a small amount drop of the Thursday and Friday (10/29 and 10/30) but has otherwise been pretty quiet.

As a reminder, here is where we were about 7 pm Friday night:

Guys from the 3080 ultra we are still on day one preorders?

Unfortunately, we are still in the morning of day 1 preorders. Hopefully more 3080 FTW Ultra's will drop tomorrow. Last drop for that card was 10/29.

So lemme' guess. XC3 black orders will start being fulfilled late this week or next week? Yeahhhhh... Heard that a few times already. Good to see that the 3070 black orders are already being fulfilled literally months after the 3080's were put in.

Happy Monday! I wonder what kind of drop EVGA have in store for us today. Has production really ramped up? Certainly seemed to pick up the pace last week.

What are current shipping times looking like for cards ordered from the EVGA website?

I'm moving in a couple weeks, and it appears likely that my spot in the queue will also arrive in the next week or two.  Need to know which address to ship the card to.  I'm in the Northeastern USA, for reference.

Depends what you pay for during checkout, really.

Shipping options for your reference. This was Tuesday last week, November 3rd.

Shipping lead times as above by BURN_BaD.. but I don't know where he lives.. also depends a little on volume being shipped at the time. I'm in NYC, my card took a day & a half just to be picked up from EVGA after I paid for it, and then a whole week to be delivered to NYC (I'm still waiting, so a week so far on fastest shipping option available at the time) ..others only took a few hours to leave EVGA depending on time of day ordered and sheer volume going out from EVGA at the time.

If you want to know when a card is likely to be available you need to advise which card and at what time and date you registered for auto notify, as there are wildly different lead times... although it looks like you have that figured out.

Just wait a month and more 3080s will be on the market. NVIDIA has to ramp up production to compete with AMD. Buying a 3070 for 1200 isn't a very good choice and you should shoot at min for a 3080.

Newegg didn't sell them for that price, third party sellers did.

I shoot at 3080 for $1,200 which is only $200 over ROTTEN EGG 3070 price.

Difference is massive.  If NewEgg is selling it, they make a gross profit.  If a third party is selling it, NewEgg gets 10 to 15% of the price it sells for.

It's a win-win for Newegg, it's a win for the scalper, and it's a big LOSE for all us end users. Buying off these scumbags only encourages more to do the same, and makes availability of cards through legit sellers at legit prices that much harder to find. Buying off these scumbag scalpers is directly contributing to the problem that is frustrating you so much.

You are correct on the fact this wouldn't be happening if people refused to pay the price.  I personally refuse to.  Ironically, dragomirc, the one complaining about third party sellers on NewEgg(and incorrectly assigning NewEgg the blame), is flat out saying he is going to buy from a third party seller at an inflated price.  He doesn't understand that he is in fact the problem then.

Therer is nothing illegal with somebody making money legally. Swap out "supply-constrained gpus" with "supply-constrained water" and see if you still think it isn't "wrong".  For many of us, these 30 series cards and the equivalent of food & water...basic necessities of life.  I am with Celeras on this one...they are "absolute scumbags."

You are electing to pay a scalper an inflated price.  You are the one to blame.  If you, and people like you, refused to purchase at an inflated price, the price would come down.  Take a hard look in the mirror, because again, you are the one to blame.

idn't sell them for that price, third party sellers did.

LOL what's the difference?
It is ROTTEN EGG website, ROTTEN EGG account where money goes.

There is nothing wrong with someone making money legally, and what they are doping is perfectly legal.  They are in no way 'scum bags.'

Newegg are enablers, so in that sense they are in part to blame. One could also say NVidia is partly to blame for creating this supply deficit.

True, scalping and the rule of supply and demand is legal (at least in this situation), but one might consider it morally corrupt to directly contribute to the shortage in order to scalp the product.

Literally, you compared a graphics card to needing food and water.  The moment you make a list of your needs and wants, and a graphics card is under 'need' and not 'want', you need to reevaluate a lot of things.

Massive for ROTTEN EGG scalping share.
Same for buyer. Let me remind you, I am a buyer.
So please do not try to defend ROTTEN EGG or any other scalper supporter retailer.

I will defend capitalism every day of the week.

You are electing to pay a scalper an inflated price.  You are the one to blame.  If you, and people like you, refused to purchase at an inflated price, the price would come down.  Take a hard look in the mirror, because again, you are the one to blame.

Can't argue with that.

I signed up for the FTW3 Ultra 3070 on launch, at 6 AM on the dot. No email yet. There's really no hope my 9/23 3080 FTW3 will ever come through lmao.

You should have gotten your notification. FTW3 Ultra is at 06:00:11 IIRC.
Does your "my notifies" page show as notification not sent?

All, not sure if this is allowed here - I have a 3080 XC3 Ultra purchased through the que. Used for about a week now. It was a shiny new toy type of purchase and quite frankly I have no need for it until I build a new system. I have two 1080ti FTW3 which max out my FPS games....competitive settings.

Would be happy to sell for MSRP. I can ship UPS tracking with insurance.

Looks like we are close to 9/17 in the queue. I'm not sure what's fair other than first come first serve by private message. If you are in the queue for 9/16 I will skip you as you should be getting a drop pretty soon. I'll prioritize the first 9/17 name on the spreadsheet.

Sorry if this is not allowed. Obviously I could sell it for more than MSRP but figured I'd give back to EVGA community.
