Are you meaning the spreadsheet? That is just a guess and is not official. Are you meaning your notifications at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp - that is when you registered to be notified, not when the card is available. Are you meaning an email from EVGA saying the item is available now?

No. That is the time in California when you clicked the auto-notify button, which was only about 8 or 9 hours ago. That is not when the card is available. Some people have been waiting over a month after they clicked auto notify button for a card to be available, and are still waiting.

any update as to date evga is currently on for each 30 series trying to get an idea if i'll even have a shot to buy at all or should i just grab what i can from scalpers ..... some idea would be nice

A couple of caveats first .. 1. The spreadsheet isn't official. EVGA has nothing to do with it so every entry in the spreadsheet is crowd reported and recorded. We have no idea if the entries represent 1%, 5%, 50% or 100% of the true number in the queue, 2. The number of cards dropped per day/week is variable so take any dates with a LARGE grain of salt. Edit 2: The 3070 cards aren't on the spreadsheet. This was started before the 3070 was released.

It appears they are only selling the FTW3 ultras and for obvious reasons but the instability is a real concern. If you want to wait for EVGA to get everything squared away then go ahead and wait but honestly you may want to look into other brands if you are looking for a card for now. I saw a 3090 tuff sell on Etsy for only 100 bucks above msrp. Keep looking

Sure you were "gigantic" 12 hours late. Meanwhile while checking ebay found that ONE scalper alone sold 43 EVGA 3080XC3 Ultra Gaming cards. Question of the year: How and where on earth he got FOURTY Four Ultras???

Well that's an interesting wrinkle. Genuinely curious how true that is. A lot of "sales" happen on Ebay that aren't real at all, and it's unfortunately not difficult to fake the sold count to make it look like someone has inventory they don't have in order to lure in more buyers.

I have only a vague recollection, so grain of salt here, but my recollection is that it was around 5 or 6 months post launch. My memory is a little uncertain as I had given up on finding a GPU for a good bit and I at the time I was living in a spot that didn't have good online etailer delivery options. I just recall that well after my friends back home had upgrade, I just happened across a 2060 on a shelf (the last one) while I was Christmas shopping. And I grabbed it, checked out at the cash register, and ran to my car like I stole it. When my 30 series arrives in a box shipped from EVGA (hopefully before Thanksgiving), I am going to hobble the 35 feet or so back to my front door like I stole it; you just watch me! Edit: I just saw that you asked about "buying it online". I haven't had my caffeine this morning...I didn't buy my 2060 online, so I actually don't know.

Not saying your wrong because I'm sure your right but I got my 2080ti ftw3 ultra with ease on launch day. (Never looked at the market again after that so they probably did dry up for months) but my point is that the 2080ti launch appeared to have a lot more availability, probably because not many people were down to pay $1200 for minimal improvements, but I was lol. Before that I had the 1080ti ftw3 ultra and the upgrade was actually pretty sweet with a nice OC, around 35% in many games @ 1440p if I'm not mistaken The way things are with the 3000 series, whether it's demand or yields it doesn't really matter. They should have pushed launch back to about now or maybe even holiday season. Scalpers are basically in control of the market at the current pace and $700 cards are selling for $1200+. It's not right. With the current pandemic situation, a lot of people who are home and tight on cash were very excited to get next-gen gpu's, only to be bent over by every day criminals on ebay...but what EVGA is doing is honestly not only commendable and just, but it is methodic and the right thing to do

Might just pay premium for ease of mind, since I don't bother with the f5 game or fighting with bots. Crazy how much faster 3090 moved but then again they need to move 3090 before AMD releases their cards and 3080ti get announced

I'm also worried about the 3080ti but yes it surely will be the same situation, putting the ti at widely available in ~fall/winter 2021 if not q1 2022. But still, I would surely hope your 3090 would outpace the ti and anything AMD will offer this year. What bothers me about the 3080 is the Vram and the bus which are both downgrades from my 2080ti but performance doesn't lie. Just another spec that makes me want to wait it out for the ti

In the year of covid, I think everything (including software being finalized and QA remotely) will be delayed. For 2020, I fully anticipate the 6800xt being the equivalent of vaporware for 90%+ of gaming enthusiasts who want to purchase one. For me, I am sticking with the folks who appreciated that I am not a bot; EVGA has my vote -- and will eventually have my money.
