I received my 4th and final notification, My families pc are now all full of 30 series goodness.
Its time for me to fully retire from here and kick back with some sand between my toe's and a beer in hand.
It took about an entire year but I made it to the other end of the line.

Today is the one year anniversary of the 30 series launch eve. A year ago, I was excited and nervous about oversleeping. I knew inventory would be tight...it was a highly sought after card...Jensen's kitchen set presentation had sparked tremendous interest. The pandemic lockdown was spiking gaming across the world. The Series X/S and PS5 were not yet available. Tomorrow was going to be a F5-battle for the ages. I was shut out across the board -- Best Buy, Microcenter, NVIDIA.com...EVGA.  
 
I'll have more reflections (frankly too many...) on what tomorrow's anniversary means to the enewts in the morning update (apologies in advance for the length of the intro...I might just have to make it an outro beneath the summary table).
 
In the interim, please ...enjoy (definitely not the right word)... this 365th day of the 30 Series era. May the gaming gods shine upon your inbox and deliver unto you a invite to ascend to Gaming Valhalla. For those that celebrate today, "G’mar chatima tova."

Happy Anniversary eve! Oh remember thinking you were going to log on in the morning and find a 3080 and buy one, lol....I started on the Nvidia crash so I came over to the EVGA site about 6am and nothing so I clicked on add to notify on every card. Nothing took because I was not signed in...

Huh? Why are there alot of skus suddenly removed?

Some one kept saying you may never get 3000 series and end up with 4000 series each day passes it gets closer.
 
I did get this card
 
a pny rtx a4000 kind of cool as it is a 1 slot card. close to a 3070 in gaming has 16 gb it is a blower style. fits in tight spots I got it at Msrp and they sold out the next few hours after I ordered it.

Also with my front-mounted rad setup in push-pull, the FTW3 wouldn't fit so.....

interesting, so all the non LHR cards have been removed from the notifications? Will only the FE versions be non-lhr? If so, isn't that kind of a poop thing to do by Nvidia?
