Finally, after 1 year (-10 days) got my 3080 yesterday. Of course there was a mechanical delay, just before the holiday which basically doubled the ship time, that's my luck. I truly believe that w/o this EVGA Que system, I would never see such a beast. Endless thanks to EVGA for keeping their promises. Since there are so many people in my same situation, I have turned off notify on all the rest of my notifies. My personal opinion, but if you've got a card, leave the line and get out of the way for those who are unlucky like myself and are still waiting.

Think i might be dead by the time i get a notification.
Why is it only 8 hours? Whats the betting it comes when I'm asleep 
Does it take time zones into consideration?
It times zone in to account, as you can order within the 8 hours after they send you the notification! LOL, So if they send at 5PM EST you have until 1AM EST. If like me you have things you do in the evenings, and are to tired to look at emails when you get home you miss it. So you return the email asking for another chance. They send it, and again like me you miss it! It took me THREE TIMES!
I'm in the UK. I was wondering whether the email tends to come in the morning or evening. Also, wouldn't a "heads up" email make sense? "Like, look out in the next 24 hours for your queue email!" How helpful would that be

Realistically, having just signed up, in any queue EU/NA, you are probably looking at six+ months minimum depending on the SKU.
