Yeah seems like it's going to be a minute for many of us. Really curious how big some of these queues are. Millions? Hundreds of thousand? Tens of thousands? Thousands?

If we all got our own queue, we'd all be next in line....-KL1, -KL2,...-KL9989...it wouldn't take that many unique product numbers, right?

I agree, looks like my 3080TI position is going to come up before the 3080 FTW3 Ultra I queued for 9 months ago. cmon EVGA

in my opinion if you can snag a 3080.... under 900.... its way better than any other card above it. The ftw3 with 450w will take the card at least to 2115mhz and  up the mem can easily do +1000 and up to 1300.... i see fps closer to that of a 3090... i mean is 10 more fps worth 400 to 1000 over that? I get it, we want the best of the best. But seriously.... the 3080 was nvidias biggest mistake, which benefits all of us smart people. =) dont buy into bs marketing. then there is the conspiracy theory... what if.... NVIDIA had this master plan all along to create this massive Demand? we all want what we cant have right? but seriously if you get a 3080 dont bother going higher. The 3060ti is the other card with awesome value... this is just my opinion on the whole thing. because who knows? end of this year or next year they might have a whole new gen with performance promises of what 10 to 20%? whole reason i didnt bother with 20 series. i had a 1080ti and that card is still awesome today... tbh... i think the 1080ti is the best value on the used market if you can snag one for 300 bucks!

That's nice rahimdamji29, now go ahead and tell me where I can get this mythical under $900 3080 and I'll jump right on that.

Don’t be so salty, the flood gates are opening way up… you should be able to snag one soon. Hang in there! I’m sure everyone who wants a card will have one by October November…. Do u really think Nvidia isn’t going to be ramping up production to make money? I wouldn’t worry.

You know Nvidia doesn't actually make the cards right? You can't speed up production when you don't produce the product.

master of the obvious... i of course know that. im talking the GPU chips them selves. they can easily speed that up. as they can very easily hoard chips. Yeah everything is beginning to come up on easier now. lol im just saying... chill, one way or another a card will get in your hands. be a little positive. There are a lot of people passing on notifies because we already got the card we wanted. its going to become a lot easier now. 

Got my notify for the K|NGP|IN Hybrid. Unfortunately for me I had to replace a Dishwasher this month and that spent my 3090 money. Fortunately for my buddy his long quest for a 3090 is now over!

Oof! Hopefully you didn't have to replace the dishwasher due to a leak. Mine leaked a couple of years ago, and it wasn't a cheap fix even with homeowners insurance. It sucks you couldn't get the card for yourself, and hopefully you can get a 3000 series card before too long.

I feel  ya.   been waiting not as long --- 6 months.   learned the hard way to check to see if the new cpu and old gpu is compatible.  Mine's not.  It's always great to try to play a game and in the middle of the game it goes black screen.  Game keeps going but all you see is black.  Wish there was some magic potion or something to just zap these cards into existence.

My best guess is that EVGA just dropped to the new -KL queue what inventory they had on hand (they wouldn't have made the announcement today, in my opinion, if they didn't have inventory to disseminate) and that will likely be the end of what has been a straggler day for the most part.  I think this Friday is proving out to be pretty dusty....

I'm hoping they are planning a nice KL drop on Monday, and wanted to give the KR miners a chance to opt out before the drop.

It has already started...(per reddit)...

I’ve decided not to go water loopy this go round so I’m letting this go back into the queue.
If enewt wanted it I’d get it to sell it to him (no profit) but he wants the water logged Kingpin.

It all depends on what your requirements are.  I'm driving a 240Hz G9 Odyssey (UWQHD) which is only 10% shy (in pixels) from 4K.  And I want 60+ FPS (preferably 120) on ULTRA settings for modern/recent games - with RT on.  3080ti is about as low as I'm willing to go, and even then I'll be stepping up to the 3090 if it ever becomes available again.
 
It's all about your budget and what you're willing to spend / where you're willing to compromise.

u wont see any notice any difference from a 3080.... i have a g7 32 in... and a acer 3440 x 1440p..... and im getting above 3090 numbers from benchmarks ive seen on youtube.... i dont know how real those numbers are... but i highly doubt a 3080ti or a 3090 is a noticable difference..... i mean its debatable. im talking from what ive seen. not to mention im also overclocked most the time 2160 to 2265 depending on game.... i think the overclocking makes up the difference...
