So looks like we're at 8:10am for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra? The drops yesterday afternoon and this morning must've been tiny
They are more than likely just left overs from the previous days of folks that didn't order. I bet they get 1 shipment a week since they are so small.
OOF. Is there a chance larger quantity of stock may be released next week due to AMD? Anybody on the conspiracy theories about how Nvidia's been limiting stock that can catch me up please?
I don’t buy it. Nvidia wants sales. There is no reason to purposely limit quantity then dump it all a week before competitors release. You want people to buy as soon as possible to “lock” them in.

I'm struggling with the ebay route myself...
I've been back and forth on doing it many many times. Ultimately I keep talking myself out of it...for now.
Yeah, same...I was looking last night. Almost bit. I'll wait a few more weeks I suppose and see how it pans out. I think with 3070's and AMD's offering demand will drop down slightly. With what I've saved I could do it, but then I couldn't purchase a 5900x and that would be all of my computer "fun" money for awhile.

I think the 3090s are just way too expensive if you are a gamer for the small performance bump - there will always be folks who are price insensitive or can exploit its advantage (professional applications) but that's a much smaller group vs the high end enthusiast market the 3080 hits. If it was $200 or so, yeah, it would be a different story but double the price? Hard pass from me and I think most people.

No worries. Yeah it's a BIG jump in price for gaming. I'm waiting on the 3090 but I can use that extra beef for rendering, photoshop, PowerDirector etc. (when I get time to lol).

According to the unofficial spreadsheet, it appears that we are moving down the spreadsheet at roughly 40-50 line items per week. Its unofficial the line is growing and extending our place in line, particularly worse if you are closer to the end of the line.
That said, at the current rate I am 2-3 weeks out of a card if the rate remains stable. They are unofficially suggesting that there are more and more cards available weekly. If we received a 10% increase in cards week over week the unofficial spreadsheet would be completed by January 11th-ish. If Volume falls then it would be potentially a much longer wait.
It appears week 1 delivered 41 cards, week 2 delivered 64 cards, and week 3 ( so far) delivered 45 cards. Averaging the 3 weeks suggests 50 cards a week on the unofficial spreadsheet. Obviously many more cards are getting delivered but it impacts the unofficial spreadsheet by 50 cards per week. Between week 1 and week 2 we saw over a 50% increase in cards dumped according to the unofficial spreadsheet. However between week 2 and week 3 we saw a 30% decrease on the impact of cards delivered via the unofficial spreadsheet. It is clearly too early to see a trend on growth rate and possible delivery schedules via your place in line on the unofficial spreadsheet.
My question for all you old timers that have been in this situation before, do we see a greater than 10% growth in card drops per week? Less than 10%? Or has it always been all over the board?
If it is greater than 10% increase, the unofficial spreadsheet may indeed be a moot point before xmas. This is all of course optimistic and trying to put some context in the frustrating wait.

Your 3080 FTW3 Ultra is getting close. Less than 2 hours from the front of the line. Probably by Thanksgiving if not sooner. Until the 3080 FTW3 Gaming units start to flow, tough to tell how long that one will take.
