I'd like to request that no one before me in the queue request to be added to the spreadsheet.  I am well aware it is unofficial and mostly meaningless, but I LOVE living in sweet, sweet denial.  Lying to myself about this card is the only thing maintaining my sanity LOL.

Good luck and fast queues yall!

I remember looking at what 3080 Supers were costing.. good ones with decent cooling back in say April or May.. I think the lowest I found at one point was $950 or $960.. supposedly new on Amazon.. Newegg was out except for some models and brands I did not like.  List was $789 for the card I wanted.. I was so annoyed I just waited until i found a decent 2070 Super for $585 which was at list for that card.

So the idea of paying 3 times list or more for anything.. its just not going to happen for me.. ever...

and.. yes I have the cash to throw...

There's nothing wrong with the spreadsheet, but for the benefit of everyone... we all need to be clear on the messaging that its not accurate and should only be used as an rough guide.
Otherwise we will end up with more and more people getting frustrated as they think they're a day or two away... for weeks.

Totally agree and have tried in my past posts to say that (perhaps not as clearly as you just articulated).  But the spreadsheet exists and, given this suboptimal situation, the best we can try to do is to leverage it to provide value to the participants in this thread.  Please, only use it as a rough estimate -- nothing more.  Its best value to date may be inform us that other than the Ultras very few cards have dropped on the other cards...this may have helped some people decide to continue F5ing storefronts, physically visiting a Microcenter or even considering a secondary sale (rather than just trusting that the queue would help them get a card in a few days).  I am not sure about any of this...but I'd prefer to try to light a candle and find utility with what we've got than to simply curse the darkness.

I think the list is an awesome community effort. I applaud those that are helping other members get added there if they are unable to.
But the reality is that its not very accurate.  I made my first comment on its accuracy over 40 pages ago.  On every page since there's been 3-5 people asking to be added... that's 40 pages of examples of how inaccurate that list has been.
I think it's great everyone is working together to give everyone a rough idea of where things lie, but that's all it is... a rough idea.
I don't want people to take that list as reliable and then get pissed off when they find out its not.   I hope people keep getting added, to the list and that its helpful to give people a rough idea, but I dont want people getting their hopes up only to get frustrated because they had a false impression of it being accurate.

If the drop sizes remain the same, I would think you will receive your email by Election Day at the absolute latest...but more likely...next week.

Jacob noticed on Twitter, they have large shipments next week. Hopefully, it would large enough for my turn.

Totally fair and I agree with the sentiment.  In the absence of anything else to do, though, I'll try to put in a little extra effort to help the community and improve the one (imperfect) tool we have at our disposal.  I acknowledge it is a bit of an exercise in futility....

Data analyst is my day job.  We have a general motto in our unit.  Some data is better than no data.  The reality is that in most situations we live in a world of imperfect information and we often need to make decisions without all of the information we need.  I think we all know the spreadsheet is fairly inaccurate, but still gives us rough info regarding how quickly we're moving through the queue.  For instance, while it sucks, its pretty helpful to know that we're not getting through day 1 anytime soon.  Information is power and hopefully people can make better decisions with what we have.

Hahahaha.  Ok small detour, but I really love how we're hyped for cutting edge tech to play games like quake and minecraft.  Gaming is such a cool hobby.

Leaning to go on ebay and burn $$ an pay double price just because I didn't push notify me button the very first hour on launch day.

You are the problem.

Right, right. Sure he is. The guy so desperate for a card and tired of waiting now that we're over a month from release that he'll spend whatever...he's the problem. Not Nvidia for deciding to use Samsung knowing their completely abysmal yields and knowing full well they would have no shot in hell of meeting demand. Nah, they're not the problem. That guy is. You can believe their crap story of "we had no idea demand would be so large blah blah" all you want. They're not a multi billion dollar company because they have no insight into the demands of their products. They just made completely stupid decisions the whole way. Period. Then decided to roll with it just so they could get ahead of AMD.

Nvidia is the reason a shortage exists, but people who actually buy from scalpers are the reason that market exists. If the scalpers couldn't sell for the inflated prices they wouldn't continue to scalp.

In the grand scheme of things, people re selling cards makes up for a teeny tiny amount of cards in all. If you added all those cards back into the pool and they went to people who weren't going to resell them - it would do absolutely nothing to help the situation we're still in: no cards to buy still.

Ultimately, I think you are right. The issue is way more a supply issue than a scalper issue. Though it absolutely looks bad and sucks seeing cards that people don't even use and just try to resell. But even if that did not happen it would not make a dent in the current demand. It is def an optics issue.

So looks like we're at 8:10am for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra? The drops yesterday afternoon and this morning must've been tiny

They are more than likely just left overs from the previous days of folks that didn't order. I bet they get 1 shipment a week since they are so small.

OOF. Is there a chance larger quantity of stock may be released next week due to AMD? Anybody on the conspiracy theories about how Nvidia's been limiting stock that can catch me up please?

Makes sense since the first drop of the week is biggest then gets smaller and smaller. Hoping I get mine next week as I'm 10 min away

Only 8 more minutes to go for 3080 FTW3 ULTRA, but likely not today. next week perhaps

If the drop sizes remain the same, I would think you will receive your email by Election Day at the absolute latest...but more likely...next week.

Jacob noticed on Twitter, they have large shipments next week. Hopefully, it would large enough for my turn.

Did he mention which SKU's?

ftw3 ultra on both 3080 and 3090.

You would need to copy paste the part numbers as well in order for any generous soul to do that for you.

(or just type them in the spreadsheet yourself wink wink)
