A lot! For some of the big European retailers who are providing queue data, the largest queues are in the 4000 range, mainly for the Asus TUF cards. Some of the less popular brands are under 1000. So in essence it would eliminate some large retailer queues instantly.
Complete speculation, but I suspect a large drop direct for EVGA would only be a few hundred. But remember, they are also supplying retailers all over the world. So they may be getting thousands of cards, but they need to spread it across a ton of retail.
I think a "large drop" (in terms of what actually makes it to the queue is between 100 and 250 cards. Remember there are allocations from each day's production that are going to other etailers and retailers in the US and around the world.

Yes, but drops are much much smaller than number of new people reporting to spreadsheet. Last FIVE days I dropped: from 575 to 681 spot RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA from 270 to 347 spot RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA So every day I am sinking instead climbing. Leaning to go on ebay and burn $$ an pay double price just because I didn't push notify me button the very first hour on launch day.
