I hear you there, I have a brand new machine built, it's waiting for my new 3080 to deploy it, because I don't want to have to redo the wiring.

Is there a list you can look at to see what position you are at?

There are a couple of spreadsheets that aren't official you can use to get a rough idea of where you fall in the queue(s) for each card.

The one above is probably the most complete but even that isn't totally accurate as it relies on people to enter their info and update it when they receive their purchase email from EVGA. It's only as good as we make it.

Sounds like you are within 24 on the XC3 Ultra and within about 71 on the FTW3 Ultra.  Both estimates are only considering those on the list which is incomplete (and assuming we are talking about 3080s).  I think it is a close call as to which email comes first.  But I think they are within a week and a half from getting to you (assuming current or better trajectory).  Think of it as a long shipping time frame and enjoy thinking about your new system.

For which card have you requested an auto-notify?

Odd question - if I miss my queue email because I can't get to my phone is there any leniency as far as missing the deadline goes? I'm just thinking that if I'm scrubbed in I'm without my phone for 6-7 hrs straight and I'd hate to be bumped to the back of the queue because of something like that.

My understanding is that absent a technical glitch with the EVGA webstore, it is a firm 8 hour window from the date/time stamp of the email.  They are only sending emails out during business hours PT (I think that is around 10 to 6 pm (give or take a hour)).  So, if you can check at your lunch time, d dinner time and, if you are East Coast, one last time before bed...you should be good.  I have heard of only one person who missed the window, called customer service about it and was declined.

I just heard there will be no 3080 20gb. Now I feel bad I passed on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra as I was notified on day one. O-well, my loss and someones gain. Back to the end of the list for me, LOL. 

One of my friends is also twiddling their things waiting for the Black, they have a time early on the 16th. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

May the WASD gods provide a bountiful volume of 3080 and 3090 cards today.  I would hate to have to sacrifice another key off my keyboard at the alter of FPS.

agree..while i still think this first release are pawns in some larger scheme.due to the vram sizes(granted stll want a 3080)
there is way to large a gap between the 3080 and 3090 its a huge hole.by all rights the cards should have been at least 3070 10gb
3080 12gb 3080ti 16gb and 3090 24gb.the hole will be fill question is when and the final vram size.16GB would have been the perfect card

Early batches of what? More ultra cards? Afaik they haven't shipped any black or gaming cards yet. It'd be nice to get some info on when we might expect them to start the Xc3 black queue, even something as vague as "sometime this month/next month" would be better than nothing. I signed up on the 16th before 4pm and I haven't seen any info at all about them other than "mostly ultra cards now".

The only gap between the 3080 and 3090 is in vram size.  There just isn't a performance based slot, especially for what the price point would have to be.
